Giver[edit]

I took the link out of the Giver, since it seemed a bit silly to have a link on a page that brought up the page you were already on - my initial reaction was that was something was broken when I clicked it. Anyone recall if the note/dialog has a "title" when you mouse over it or bring it up? I am pretty sure all my characters already picked it up, I simply recorded "a note on the ground" but that was from memory. Also, anyone know if you can get it directly from the Curator in the House if you happen to miss the note? Anghara (talk) 13:44, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

I also took out the note, as that is not correct - I can confirm that you get the achievement for any relic you place before this quest is complete, even before you ever talk to the Curator. The only thing I can't confirm is if you'd get credit if the quest hadn't been started at all. Anghara (talk) 14:00, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

On a side note - what is the difference between Orsinium (city) and just plain Orsinium? Anghara (talk) 14:00, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

I think the note/giver is called "The House of Orsimer Glories" in dialogue. Online:Orsinium is currently a disambig to differentiate the in-game city from the DLC game pack, but I think there were plans to move the city to that page. —Legoless (talk) 16:45, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

Achievement credit before quest completion[edit]

You DO get credit in your achievements for placing relics before you have completed this quest - the note that you do not is in error. I have two characters right now for whom this is true. One has talked to the Curator and placed the Agra Crun, but has not yet found the helm. That character has placed and has credit in the achievements for the Anvil. The second character has picked up the note, but has not yet talked to the curator for the first time yet; I just went and picked up/placed the Map of Clans, and she is showing credit in her log for that item currently. I can provide screenshots if you need evidence. Anghara (talk) 16:22, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

So the relics show up in white on your relic hunter achievement? They must have fixed it since release then - caused lots of confusion! —Legoless (talk) 16:45, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
Yes, they do show up white and "checked off" on the list under the Wrothgar Relic Hunter achievement, so that must have been fixed indeed. So for example, one character has Map of Clans (only) checked off, rest of list (including helm for the quest) is grayed out still. I didn't realize that at one point this didn't happen - I think on my initial playthrough, I never looked at the achievement until perhaps I wondered if the Armlet of Torug was on it when I was deciding who to side with during Sorrow's Kiss. — Anghara (talk) 16:50, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
Does the Agra Crun still not show up white until this quest is complete, or does it get ticked off when you place it too now? —Legoless (talk) 16:51, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
The Agra Crun does not appear to show up white until the quest is complete - my character that has completed that step but not finished the quest is showing that still grayed out (though the Anvil is showing up checked off). I'll edit the note to reflect that! —Anghara (talk) 16:55, 2 January 2016 (UTC)
