Polymorphism[edit]

Are there any sources regarding the claim of polymorphism into lamias? I always thought lamias were a species in its own, they even reproduce by laying eggs (as we see in one of the quests in Coldharbour, if I recall correctly). Thank you.

From The Glenmoril Wyrd no less, though it calls lamias and hagravens as human hybrids. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:12, 26 April 2017 (UTC)
That's a warranted question. Additionally this book mentions nothing about polymorphism, only their racial attributes. To me, this is not the same at all, unless you regard polymorphism as something that results in permanent change. (To me personally, polymorphism always marked a temporary change, switching between forms, hence the root of the name). So unless we actually have a source (book/dialogue), this part about lamias should be reworded because it simply sounds like somebody didn't pay attention to details. Also, according to lore page, hagraven is a permanent transformation, so only raven would count as true polymorphism. Tib (talk) 13:27, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
