Resident locations?[edit]

I'm planning ahead and thinking about what I'm going to need to do to create a list of the city's residents (like you see in Vulkhel Guard, but I need some input as to where to list some of Vivec City's residents. Some are obvious, like Gladiator Ethes, who will go under Gladiator's Quarters (which I haven't made quite yet). But then there are some that I'm not sure of—take Llandras Gathram, for instance. He stands around at the writ turn-in area (which is on a southern quay), but that area doesn't have any formal location/marker. It's relatively obvious it's not part of the Gladiator's Quarters (the closest marker), but there's no location on the map for the docks themselves. Would I just list him under a non-linked heading like "Vivec City Docks" or "Other", or should I include him as part of one of the "official" locations, such as Foundation's Labor (the closest marker to the docks, and the one that seems most integrated with them)?
Then there are the NPCs that wander around the "Foundation" areas. As an example, Hranasgi moves around an area between Foundation's Bulwark and Foundation's Embrace. Since all the "Foundation" areas are all essentially crafting/service areas, I can't just place her by "theme" (e.g. wharf rats obviously belonging to a dock). Would I list her under one of the two locations? Under a "Foundation" header that includes all non-specified NPCs who wander around in the area, like her? Under "Other"?
Sorry for the deluge of questions, but I'm hoping to get started on the list over the weekend (I'm planning on posting the rest of the "Shops and Services" pages by the end of the day). If you have any questions or want any clarifications, please don't hesitate to ask (for) them. gelza1Talk Cont 16:38, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Just realized how wordy this was. I can move it to my talk page, if necessary. gelza1Talk Cont 16:38, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
It's fine. If you look at Vulkhel Guard, you'll see it has an "Other" section for NPCs. That's the list you add to if there isn't a good descriptive location of their position. A single "Foundation" section sounds like a good suggestion for capturing wandering NPCs. —Legoless (talk) 17:32, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
All right—thanks for the input; that's exactly what I was needing to know. gelza1Talk Cont 17:33, 1 June 2017 (UTC)

Should "Foundation's Labor" exist?[edit]

Looking at the map for Vivec City, I realized that the only marked character for "Foundation's Labor" is Jeeba-Noo, a General Goods Merchant. However, she is also listed under Foundation's Bulwark. Her location most closely corresponds with that of Foundation's Labor, but given that she's the only inhabitant, should the "Labor" page just be a redirect, or should Jeeba-Noo be listed only under Foundation's Labor, or under both Foundation's Labor AND Foundation's Bulwark, or should something completely different be done...? gelza1Talk Cont 00:21, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

I'd really love some input on this. gelza1Talk Cont 23:25, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
I would say list her only under Foundation's Labor. Without her, Foundation's Bulwark is solely a crafting vendor location, which potentially looks a bit better. --Enodoc (talk) 08:24, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
All right, that makes sense to me. I'll make the change in the morning (it's pretty late for me here). gelza1Talk Cont 08:56, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

"To Tel Fyr" location[edit]

Maybe I'm not understanding, but (under Related Quests, shouldn't To Tel Fyr be listed before A Friend In Need, as "To Tel Fyr" is a side quest, whereas "A Friend In Need" is listed as "miscellaneous"? gelza1Talk Cont 01:12, 5 June 2017 (UTC)

All related quests that don't come under a subheading are alphabetised. "Miscellaneous" is just a section in the journal. —Legoless (talk) 01:30, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
