Magical Resistance[edit]

I've been wondering what the magical resistances are for Knights of the Order. A lot of the other creature pages it lists them. I'm playing on Xbox 360, so I don't have the ability to use the construction set or whatever and check the programmed statistics. If anyone can help me out on this, I'd appreciate it. I may go ahead and download an illegal copy of Oblivion just to update this page. 68.202.196.130 15:43, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Statistics[edit]

whats with this? every other page with npc's and creatures have id's, why doesn't this?

We're working on it. Don't worry ;) DaedryonTCE 22:31, 21 August 2008 (EDT)

So what are the stats on these guys? Whenever I fight them every single one of their hits causes me to stumble, even if I use a shield. Is there a way to avoid that? Their hits don't seem to be powerful but it is rather irritating. After typing that, I discovered sheathing my sword allowed me to block their attacks. Is there a reason for this odd behavior? — Unsigned comment by 24.174.163.173 (talk) on 18 September 2008

Expanding the page to include statistics is on the list of things to do, like many others. Stumbling is caused by the amount of damage an enemy does. I'm not sure what you mean with your last comment though. --Timenn < talk > 17:45, 18 September 2008 (EDT)
I'll, try to explain. I'm not sure why, but at the point I started "Retaking the Fringe" I was suddenly affected by what I can only assume was a very odd bug. Affecting both myself and my opponents. Striking a target who had a weapon drawn would cause a stagger effect 100% of the time. Did not effect targets who had no weapon drawn. Additionally, the damage dealt by these "glitched" attacks was minimal. The only way I was able to proceed at that point was to equip a bunch of damage reflecting equipment and make use of my (rather limited) magical repertoire. When I started playing again today, the problem was no longer occuring. I originally posted this under the impression it was these enemies causing the problem (or their weapons). — Unsigned comment by 24.174.163.173 (talk) on 19 September 2008
Being staggered when hit is a random event. I've experienced several irritating periods of play where it seems to happen every time (often fighting Ogres) then I'll fight another one five minutes later and not get staggered at all. Stuff Happens best sums it up! –RpehTCE 01:16, 19 September 2008 (EDT)
I know im more then 2 years too late for this discussion, but i want to add i have come across a similar bug once, with me, it wasn't only staggering, but litteraly every arrow that a vampire archer fired at me caused me to paralyze (my level was high enough for them to have that perk) and every attack that should cause knockdown actually knockdowned. I had to reload an earlier save because the vampire archer kept me on the ground permanently (i eventually took a break and in the end spended about 25 minutes on the ground being paralyzed). She did not have a bow or arrows that cause paralyze. KrazorM 11:54, 15 December 2010 (UTC)

() I guess nobody ever found out the stats for the Knights?? — Unsigned comment by 24.177.109.34 (talk) at 02:23 on 25 January 2018

There are 35 Knights. The stats are on each link, some are templates where the stats are overridden. Trying to sort them is a hard task, but at least now the stats are visible somewhere, until someone gets to the page. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:05, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

Sorry[edit]

About kicking a dead Daedroth, and extending again the comment above, but is there any baseid for the Knights of Order armor? it would be very interesting to wear, and many others would agree with me. But as I have no access to the construction set because I do not use the PC, I cannot find it for myself and I ask whomever is reading this from recent changes, would you soon find more information on the armor and Knights? The enjoyment of gamers and perfection of the UESPWiki depends on it. --M'aiq the Liar 08:46, 25 August 2008 (EDT)

I found it. I was screwing around in the test cell WarehouseArmor, and I grabbed EVERYTHING in that cell. The Knight of Order armor was in that test cell. It's only 1 piece, but when equipped, it equips the whole armor. However, I cannot find the base ID, and I'm not sure if it was added by Shivering Isles DLC, or by the ArmoryLab Mod I downloaded... DaedryonTCE 18:42, 27 December 2008 (EST)

It was added with the Shivering Isles. (Mylesjackson 17:21, 3 June 2010 (UTC))

not deadra[edit]

according to an interview with Kurt Kuhlmann and Bruce Nesmith in character as dyus and haskill the knights of order arent deadra the exact dyus quote is "There are as many types of servants as stars in the sky. Daedra, as you call them, are but one of the more useful. The Knights of Order are yet another. My Lord Jyggalag is partial to their lack of creativity and independence." KOO Armor confirmed[edit]

There is indead a wearable version of the Knights of Order Armor in the cell WarehouseArmor. It can be found on the same table where the Madness armor is. Also, when you drop the armor it looks like the bottle filled with Thadon's blood during the Duke of Mania Quest.

Thank you for confirming. I have the FormID for the Armor, only problem is the console doesn't recognize it when you use it with the player.additem code. The item code is FF0012F0. DaedryonTCE 09:50, 1 January 2009 (EST)
Try 4dbf5. According to the CS that should be the correct ID. It's name is SEOrderKnightArmorTest.

A second set of KOO armor can be found in the cell TestEnchanted in the crate "All SE Armor and Clothes"

knight of order armor[edit]

is there any way of obtaining it on ps3?--Themadgod 12:44, 20 April 2009 (EDT)

No. You can't wear it on any system anyway. –RpehTCE 15:57, 27 April 2009 (EDT)
Mostly because it's not "armor". It's their actual body. Felindre 05:35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
In-game it really is armor - it's just that you can't get it. There are 6 types (plus a test version), called SEOrderKnightArmor1Iron, SEOrderKnightArmor2Steel... SEOrderKnightArmor6Daedric, reflecting the increasing toughness. If you're on the PC, try player.additem 41f21, 1 to get a copy of the daedric version - but save first. I haven't tested it and Bad Things might happen. –rpehTCE 05:51, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

knight of order weakneses[edit]

in all my batles with them it seems that they dont like fire... this, or i was gething lucki hits when i was using goldbrand on them. Not tested yet cold damage.... but they seem to react normal to shock. — Unsigned comment by 188.25.238.151 (talk) on 15 August 2009

They have a natural resistance against all magic, but no specific weaknesses against any of the three elements. --Timenn-<talk> 11:04, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

I have noticed that, when compared to normal weapons, the Knights are rather vulnerable to the Duskfang/Dawnfang sword. I have found that when using the sword it only takes 3-4 hits to kill a Knight. Indeed, I find that simple Germinal Gnarls are more difficult to kill than Knights when using the Duskfang/Dawnfang.

Skull of corruption on the knights[edit]

can you use the skull of corruption on the knights?? id try it myself but i'm compleating cyrodiils main quests first, and since my othe character has compleated the main quest i don't really know if you can use it on them..--VergilSparda 15:51, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Yes you can dosent do anything special though just standard NPC response to their cloneLiam head 17:05, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Friendly Knights[edit]

Can you only make them friendly on the PC version or is there a way to do it o consoles? Liam head 17:04, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Having a crazy amount of fame and personality or using a very strong charm spell usually works.--Corevette789 23:09, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
i tried using a 100 point charm spell and they didn't become friendly and yes i yealded to them — Unsigned comment by 142.68.98.45 (talk) on 27 February 2010
They have a very high agression and over -100 dislike towards you so a simple Charm spell isn't enough. --SerCenKing Talk 18:26, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
what about calm? and what do they say to you?--GUM!!! 00:27, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

maybe you can scare them with frenzy kind of thing - user:skooma addict

Knights outside of the shivering isles[edit]

I can assume the race, gender, and class of the character I was playing as is not important thus I will not say them. I having just broken out of the jail in Bravil I ran to the gate to escape into the night. As I exist the door two knights of order are just there. They are still hostile to me and the one closest to me attack me, I along with the help of the guard trying to kill me best him while the other one is killed with arrows. I checked there inventory and the simply had the low-level swords no hearts. This charter as it stands when this happened was about twenty minutes old and has never even come close to the door yet. I do not know if this interest anyone but I am only curious. I am playing on the PS3 game of the year addition and please do pardon my ignorance if this subject has already been addressed.

I'm not completely sure if it's the same - but there is a glitch in which NPCs appear outside a jail along with the player after finishing a sentence.--Kvaener 17:31, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

race[edit]

What are their race? — Unsigned comment by Vvardfell (talkcontribs) at 14:27 on 30 September 2010

They're Imperials. Robin Hoodtalk 21:53, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
male or female(Vvardfell 06:51, 1 October 2010 (UTC))
As you might guess from their appearance, they're male. It's pretty much irrelevant in their case, though, since you can't really perceive them as either male or Imperial in any meaningful way. Robin Hoodtalk 07:46, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Improving skills?[edit]

Once the knights of order start appearing... I have found, for my level 2 character, the ideal way to improve blade, block and armorer skills. (And restoration). There is ample time between when they spawn to heal up and repair armor and weapons, and they spawn indefinitely. I've search all of Oblivion and SI and haven't found anywhere near as fast a way to do blade and block. Sniffles 07:53, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

OOPSaddition. I have 85 armor class wearing Umbra's armor and am using Dusk/Dawnfang which at my level does very little damage. Sniffles 07:55, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
There are many ways to train skills, and I don't think it is worth mentioning here. Literally any place with enemies could be called an ideal place. It is all just personal preference. DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 17:11, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
