Category[edit]

Shouldn't this article go in the "Category:Shivering-Armor-Full Sets Heavy", I'd put it there, but I don't know enough about wikis to make such a change. — Unsigned comment by 24.174.163.173 (talk) on 14 September 2008

You are correct. Armor sets like Daedric Armor are in such categories as well. I've added the relevant category to this article, and the Light version to Shivering:Amber Armor. --Timenn < talk > 13:06, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

Weight[edit]

Hey, maybe a good addition would be total weight of a full set at each level. I'd do it myself, but I'm too in to my game to contribute at the moment. :) --Enru

Madness not the best armor[edit]

I play on PS3 with the download version of Shivering Isles. I just got the Perfect Madness armor, and it's not as good as my daedric. Not the total armor rating, (I don't have the full set yet) but each single piece is less protection than the daedric equivalent. a.k.a. Perfect Madness Cuirass: 15, Daedric Cuirass: 19.

My friend has the perfect madness armor on his Xbox, and on HIS game (GOTY) It's better than daedric. So... Any thoughts? Is this a glitch on my game, or everyone's, or not a glitch at all? Chunk of Ham 01:00, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

I'm guessing that the repair level of the Madness armor and the Daedric armor aren't the same: perhaps the Daedric cuirass is at 125% health, and the Madness cuirass is only at 100% health? --NepheleTalk 01:39, 9 March 2009 (EDT)
Good point. I'll check that next time I play. Knowing my scatterbrains, that's it.

Spikes on helm?[edit]

Ive seen in places that there are long spikes coming out of the helm, why? Bluelaser 04:25, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

You get that helmet in this quest. It is called Count Cirion's Helmet.--70.106.167.76 05:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, I just finished that quest, and I love the helmet. Bluelaser 21:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

just a question[edit]

I have a set of amber armor so I can't tell for myself, but is the shield in the picture upside-down?? — Unsigned comment by 24.162.122.34 (talk) at 05:18 on 10 April 2011 (UTC)

You know you can get both sets of armor right? But yes the shield is upside down. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 05:18, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
I couldn't stop it from toppling over if I placed it the right way up. rpeh •TCE 06:20, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Ok, thanks, I was just curious, and if I find madness ore, I tend to get weapons foged out of it, because I don't have any use for the armor — Unsigned comment by 24.162.122.34 (talk) at 21:36 on 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Obviously, if anybody can get a better image then please - overwrite this one. That's why it's a wiki! rpeh •TCE 21:40, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
