what makes her insane? i think when you talk to her she sometimes thinks she's great but sometimes thinks she's terrible. i might be wrong though. --98.203.247.43 20:25, 21 October 2007 (EDT)

You're not wrong, although she's usually rather down about herself. This is her unique dialogue:
  • Have you caught my act yet? I'm Thaedil, the juggler. I'm sure you've heard of me.
  • Oh, who am I kidding? More likely you came to scoff at the worst juggler in the world.
  • Did you see that? Twelve balls in the air at once! No one has EVER juggled that many at once.
  • Is there anything more pathetic than a clumsy juggler? Don't even look at me!
  • Once I've perfected my act, I'll be the toast of the Realm!
  • Don't be shy. I'm really very approachable. You wanted an autograph, is that it?
  • I'm awful. Just awful! Why I became a juggler I'll never know. My mother pushed me into it.
  • You saw my last show, and came to mock me, right? Don't worry, I already know. I disgust myself.

Missing Texture[edit]

On my account that I played, the balls are not purple, but rather grayish with a bumpy looking texture. I loaded an earlier account and the balls were purple... How did the game find the missing texture on one acct and not the other? (I play on PS3 GOTY) — Unsigned comment by Mptrj (talkcontribs) on 28 March 2009

"Dirty" image[edit]

SerC took the image while using USIP. I remember some discussions (way too bored to find the links) that stated that mod information should not be used in articles. However, many people treat UOP, USIP, UOMP and UOPS as special cases. What do we do? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:53, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Umm leave it? It looks better than what it would be without the textures. Unless anyone strongly disagrees then the image should stay. I dont see any reason (other than representing what most players see) why it should go. Thats my thoughts anyway. - Emoboy64 21:02, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Remember that most people play on consoles, not in PC. Also, some people won't read the entire page, which means they'll see a misleading picture. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 21:06, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Granted it may be mis-leading and most people play on consoles, but it is actually very minor, because before I even read the page, I didn't notice the fact the balls were purple and many other plays probably wouldn't either. I don't see a major problem with keeping the image, it looks nice. If you want to replace the image, go ahead, it'd be nice to see the comparison between the two and then a decision can be made from that - Emoboy64 21:14, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
I think this would be best brought up with SerCenKing, but I see the difference in using the mod (the balls' colors). The discussion you're talking about Rigas is here. In my opinion, it would be appropriate to revise the USIP note to "The purple color of her juggling balls is accidental; their texture is missing and the game replaces a missing texture file with solid purple to make it stand out. The balls' colors are corrected by the USIP in the picture)" -- Jplatinum16 21:25, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Experience helps a lot... Agreed. Anyone has any objections? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 22:08, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

() I think the USIP note should most definately be revised. But to something like: "The purple colour of her juggling balls is due to a missing texture as the game replaces a missing texture file with solid purple to make it stand out. A texture for the balls is provided by the USIP" As there is no evidence to suggest the missing texture wasn't intentional. A note about the "correction" in the picture should be in the picture's caption, not the bugs section. Save replacing an image, why not add a smaller image of the original balls (with a caption) in the article, that way everything is covered. RaidensTechSupp 23:57, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Ok this is actually quite a minor thing to be worrying about. I don't have any objections Rigas (pressuming you mean with updating the USIP note) and you can go ahead and do it, as if its not the right thing to do, a patroller will pick it up. With what you said Raiden, I don't think this is important enough to be noted in the pictures caption, or warrant a new picture, so I agree that the USIP tag should be updated. Hopefully that gives a useful solution to this "problem". - Emoboy64 00:25, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
I'll agree on that. I've changed the USIP tag. Though maybe the comment "This can be see on Thaedil's image above" should be ommitted perhaps? RaidensTechSupp 00:53, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
As a patroller, I say everything looks resolved ;) -- Jplatinum16 01:24, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
