Shared Name[edit]

This has the same issue as the Tribute quest. There needs to be some way to distinguish between the Imperial and Stormcloak versions of these quests that share names.Mendenhall 04:04, 20 November 2011 (UTC)

i have made a request to have seperate pages made. (Eddie The Head 04:15, 20 November 2011 (UTC))

Legion Apparel[edit]

Notably, Penitus Oculatus armor does not count as Legion apparel when speaking to Legate Duilis — Unsigned comment by 24.18.248.207 (talk) at 08:52 on 21 February 2012

Not really notable, the Penitus Oculatus are the emperors bodyguards, similar to the blades, not associated with the Imperial Legion at all. (Eddie The Head 08:57, 21 February 2012 (UTC))

Galmar is crazy[edit]

As I try to get back to Galmar Stonefist in order to give me the next mission, he keeps attacking me without any reason so I can't get the next quest. I tried several console commands, such as "forceav Aggression 0", "resetai" and "forceav confidence 0", but it has no effects. I never attacked stomcloak soldiers, nether did I ever attacked Galmar. Is there any solution for this? Or should I just have to wait 3 days doing something else so that his AI may update or reset? - Sagheena, Argonian Dovahkiin — Unsigned comment by 24.212.54.76 (talk) at 03:18 on 5 April 2012

Is anyone else attacking you? Jeancey (talk) 19:41, 9 March 2013 (GMT)

Murder?[edit]

Does killing the courier, even if he attacks you first, count as murder in your stats? 98.217.230.157 01:21, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes. Jeancey (talk) 19:40, 9 March 2013 (GMT)
The USKP fixes this bug with the upcoming release (which is still in beta). This bug is due to CWCourierImperial being part of a guard-related faction. --Blackpete (talk) 09:41, 4 May 2014 (GMT)

unable to find Legate Taurinus Duilis in Morthal[edit]

I had visited the Hjaalmarch Imperial camp and killed them all except Legate Taurinus Duilis before starting the mission A False Front. I was then unable to find Legate Taurinus Duilis in Morthal.

The on screen quest target kept pointing to an empty area beside Alva's house, the spell Clairvoyance showed the same result. The console commands "moveto" and "movetoqt" were also not helpful.

In the end I resorted to the consol command "SetStage CWMission03 200" and that solved the problem.

Glitch concerning Legate Taurinus Duilis[edit]

I've done this quest easily a dozen times, but today I experienced an odd glitch I haven't encountered or read about before. When I got the quest objective to take the forged documents to Legate Taurinus Duilis, the quest marker indicated he was in the guardhouse, and the door was locked. It was about 1 a.m. game time, so I waited until the next day, but the quest marker hadn't changed. I double checked the jarl's palace where he's supposed to be, and sure enough, he wasn't there. I fast traveled to Whiterun, did a few things there, then went back. It was the middle of the day, and he was still in the guardhouse. I ultimately picked the lock and got a 5 gold bounty, and was arrested by the Legate inside. I did my jail time, and he had finally gone where he's supposed to be. Playing on Xbox, so no possible mod conflicts. Voraxith (talk) 02:41, 28 August 2014 (GMT)

Occasionally a glitch will occur where an NPC will enter a cell, the door will lock behind them and they will then be unable to leave due to not having a key to unlock the door. They'll effectively be locked in until you pick the lock yourself. This happens with quite a few NPCs, can't remember any off the top of my head though (haven't played in a while). I don't know if this is the case here, but this bug is probably the most likely culprit. Hope this helps :) AyaHawkeye (talk) 03:42, 17 November 2014 (GMT)
