Contract[edit]

I can verify the contract, I was just attacked by three "hired thugs" when coming out from a ship near Solitude, one had the contract in his inventory. 82.3.159.50

The thugs can be hired by any random NPC that you have stolen from previously. It's not specific to this NPC. Kai Heilos 05:30, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

I'm Having A Problem.[edit]

When I got to this pages main page its says I'm not logged in but when i go to another page it says I'm logged in is this a page needing purging?----Candc4, Also known as the Man Inside the Sexy Leather Pants CT 18:09, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure that was during a wiki-wide problem period, so not specific to this page. Robin Hoodtalk 08:15, 19 March 2012 (UTC)

Special Contract[edit]

Hi, sorry for my English, i'm French. Near Whiterun, when i kill my first Dragon (Nirmulnir), each time I start a new game, Asbjorn Fire-Tamer send hired thugs to kill me, but when i read his contract, i unterstood it was not a random contract but a conctract who he says i am a ragtag and i wants to kill me to show who's the strongest. So, in view of i haven't killed one of his friends, why he wants to kill me ? --XMen19 11:12, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

Asks for dropped armor[edit]

I dropped a Blacksmith's apron that I accidentally picked up while looting the scorched hammer. This guy asked me if I could have it. I said yes, but it looks like nothing happened from it. Not1975 14:56, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

That is just a random event that can happen to anybody. If you drop something valuable people may sometimes ask if they can have it. Other times a child may give it back to you and sometimes two people may fight over it. It's just another example of random encounters. RIM 15:01, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

Beyond the grave[edit]

I was almost to 100 smithing when I ran out of iron ingots. So I went into the Scorched Hammer and for fun killed Asbjorn, then went downstairs and stole some iron (Which I did correctly since it envoked no bounty.) However a couple hours of play time later while doing the side quest for Sylgja I was attacked by hired thugs. I killed them and read the contract. They were hired by Asbjorn because I stole from him. Somebody know why this happened? — Unsigned comment by 71.197.238.84 (talk) at 21:35 on May 4, 2012

This can happen with almost every NPC, alive or dead. It's random, but only happens if you kill or steal from someone. Vely►Talk►Email 16:47, 25 May 2012 (UTC)

Stepson[edit]

I saw that a verifacation tag was added to the note saying that he would become your stepson after marrying Balimund. I don't think it's a feature from Hearthfire, I think it's a situation similar to Rondach who's father you can marry.--Skyrimplayer (talk) 20:36, 16 October 2012 (GMT)

Not sure why that was put there as you can marry Balimund in vanilla Skyrim. Removed the tag. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:40, 16 October 2012 (GMT)
I read "Becomes your stepson" as meaning that there was some acknowledgement that he was your stepson ingame, such as him having different dialogue after your married Balimund. That's why I asked for verification.--Anil (talk) 17:26, 17 October 2012 (GMT)
