Numeric Order[edit]

I wonder how it came to the given numbering of the recipes. It seems as the user rpeh (on his talk page is said he's inactive) did create those.
In the game they don't have numbers. The only useful order (IMO) would be given by the CK IDs – which is completely different to the one used here.
If there's nothing speaking against it, I would change that, editing the single recipe sites, the overview, and the table at the Forge's site itself.

While I wouldn't be opposed to changing the order to better match the editor id, it is a lot of work and would require proper research and an acceptance on which comes first (Daedric or normal), plus the ck numbering is odd for the normal ones (0-8, 12-16) and the Daedric ones start at 0 too. I would orient myself to the Form IDs which have the same numeric order like the Editor IDs, putting the non-daedric ones to the top. The ongoing numbering from 1 to 31 should remain, disregarding the missing numbers from the Editor IDs. -- CompleCCity (talk) 15:14, 31 May 2014 (GMT)
Another idea would be to make two categories, daedric and non-daedric (with a connection to the forging results) and renumbering the non-daedric ones from 1 to 17 with a gap of three, explaining that those missing numbers are already contained in the manual. -- CompleCCity (talk) 15:20, 31 May 2014 (GMT)
I have a question: Although some notes are written in Daedric, they're here written in standard font. Shouldn't there be used the original font and a translation added?
I've checked the existing order, it's viceversa to the one I'd prefer. In addition I would indeed make 34 recipes on this disambiguition page with the three missing notes linking to the manual. I only need a "go!" ;o) -- CompleCCity (talk) 16:47, 31 May 2014 (GMT)
Was playing a little, look here and here. But I'm not very pleased by the look of the second one. Had to use "::" for nearly correct formatting, because the normal indenting doesn't seem to work when using another font – but it's now one or two millimeters too much. In addition I'd like to have the word "Translation" in a smaller size, but don't know how to do that. Help please? The reason why I did change the explanation into "lost page" can be found in the manual itself, where the author says "I've recorded such recipes as I have discovered on the following pages", starting with the three missing ones. -- CompleCCity (talk) 18:07, 31 May 2014 (GMT)

Usefulness of Page[edit]

Is it too difficult to actually make this page useful to gamers? A numbered list doesn't help anyone when the in-game Recipes are identified by the Weapon they will produce at the Atronach Forge. This page should list the recipe's produced Weapon. Keep the pointless numbering system if you want, and add the Weapon name to the Recipe title. Or, drop the numbering system altogether and list the Recipes alphabetically by produced Weapon.

The current listing is a useless mess. For a Recipe written in the Daedric alphabet, I first had to translate the first item in the recipe, using another Wiki page. Then I had to begin clicking on the various numbered Recipes to see which one this particular Recipe is. It all would have been so much quicker and hassle-free if the Recipe's weapon had been listed in the Recipe title. Information is supposed to flow and grow and interconnect, not be locked up in individual hermetically-sealed museum cases with cryptic and meaningless labels.
