Temporarily unable to brawl with Burguk[edit]

I was unable to brawl with him during the day. After I left to deliver Gharol's sword and came back, he was inside the longhouse, where I could initiate a brawl. Don't know if it was due to completing Gharol's quest, the passage of time or the change of venue. Kotekzot (talk) 11:21, 12 August 2014 (GMT)

You need to be in the OrcFriend faction to brawl him. I believe returning the sword adds you to it. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 15:51, 12 August 2014 (GMT)

Letter from Chief Burguk[edit]

Has anyone else gotten a letter from Chief Burguk after killing his son Lurbuk in the Dark Brotherhood quest? I had a courier waiting for me as soon as I left the inn. Basically he states that he knows I killed his son, that he won't be missed, and even thanks me. I hadn't even done the brawl with Burguk, or done any favors for the orcs other than becoming blood kin. — Unsigned comment by Chocoholic (talkcontribs) at 05:07 on 1 February 2021 (UTC)

(edit conflict) Burguk and Lurbuk have a negative disposition towards each other and are marked as rivals in the game data; therefore, by killing one of them you can receive a letter as part of a radiant quest. This is noted on Lurbuk's page but I've added a note to Burguk's as well. --Oriwa Talk 05:33, 1 February 2021 (UTC)
