Merchant's gold[edit]

Note that saving and quitting the game will reset a merchant's gold. So merchants have practically an infinite amount of gold if you save, quit and restart the game every time they run out of gold. Doing that seems to change the sale price of items though. A dagger newly enchanted with banish that would sell for 900+ will only sell for 600+ after restarting the game. Enchanting another dagger brought the selling price of all daggers back up.70.40.141.53 08:05, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

Amulet of Zenithar decreasing Training cost[edit]

So I walk into the Silver-Blood in to take some lessons in the art of Speech from Ogmund. Wearing my Amulet of Dibella and Novice Hood it costs me 2030 gold to go from 51 to 52. But when I wear my Amulet of Zenithar it goed down to just 1580.

I check uesp (https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Commerce) and

"Non-Adjusted Prices

Several types of good or service transactions are fixed and not affected by price adjustments. These include:

The price of skill training"

So I think wait a minute Fortify Barter works on Skill Training costs! So I put on my Thieves Guild Hood, but the price doesn't drop any further.

Anything special about the amulet of Zenithar? -Tested this on my Nintendo Switch — Unsigned comment by Ideosyncrasy (talkcontribs) at 19:11 on 12 September 2021 (UTC)
