Recipes[edit]

Not in wiki format! I have In-game recipes listed for Cooking at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkrpE_U9IUyRdDhYSzUyQXhOdzh1ZU5RdE85bDJHdFE. It is available for Public viewing. ~~MapMonkey

It's already been taken care of. --NepheleTalk 16:10, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Changes coming with Hearthfire[edit]

I have the Hearthfire DLC installed. I've noticed, so far, that the aspect of some dishes has changed. The Elsewyr Fondue is white now, for instance. Also the Salmon steak/meat looks different when looking at it in my inventory. I also noticed there are a few more recipes for cooking (besides the baking recipes). I don't have the hardware, though, to capture the pictures. I could provide some info about the new recipes, though. ~~ Cepsita — Unsigned comment by 192.131.85.207 (talk) at 05:25 on 5 September 2012‎

Cabbage Soup[edit]

If the Cabbage Soup is really added by the Dragonborn expansion as the article indicates (and as I think to remember), why do we have the vanilla soup icon there alongside its Dragonborn icon? SarthesArai (talk) 18:49, 8 April 2013 (GMT)

Cabbage soup was present in the base game, but you could not cook it yourself without the Dragonborn add-on. — ABCface 09:53, 29 June 2013 (GMT)

Redundant to Skyrim:Food[edit]

I would suggest this page along with Skyrim:Baking be merged into Skyrim:Food. Aside, I would suggest we make a bit of changed to the layout. These instances of "Restore Health 1 pt" are very unnecessarily repeated and occupying unnecessary space. I would raise the need of changing the layout. We could start designing a new one if agreed to this. -Joshua.yathin.yu (talk) 10:43, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

This page is for recipes. Skyrim:Food is for listing items, and is already very long. It's far more useful to keep the concepts separate, never mind the fact that Skyrim:Baking would also have to be merged. The health values of the base food provide a useful comparison to the resulting cooked items. —Legoless (talk) 18:55, 17 January 2017 (UTC)

Looking for cooking pots[edit]

I want to cook some food but can't remember where the cooking pots are. Places that it would seem obvious to have one don't (like the Blue Palace kitchen in Solitude).

Would it be useful to have a page or section somewhere that tells you where they are?

Update: Never mind, found it ... there's a link at the bottom Category:Skyrim-Activities, and on THAT page is a link to Skyrim-Places-Cooking Pots. A little convoluted navigation, but got there in the end. 82.35.195.134 19:00, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Generally speaking, if you are on a location, the number of cooking pots is listed in the infobox. :) Jeancey (talk) 19:27, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
