Tharstan

Is Tharstan from the Dragonborn DLC a Breton, Imperial or Nord by his name origin? Dragon Guard (talk) 10:59, 15 June 2013 (GMT)

It's impossible to assign race by name, because there are lots of people who have names that are in the style of one racial name-type, yet are of a different race. Saying that, his name is more inclined to the Imperial naming style imo, clearly not Breton, though it could be Nordic. Silence is Golden^{Break the Silence} 13:31, 15 June 2013 (GMT)

Unless there is clear confirmation of the race, we shouldn't discuss it as it is speculation. Just gonna hop in here and say: "No, we can't". For example, take Sebastian(Which originated as a Greek/Latin name)or Banning (Which is a Gaelic name)There are several others from different races who's names don't match one culture alone.
