Killing Lurbuk Beforehand?[edit]

I looked both on this page, and on the Skyrim:Lurbuk page, but found no answer. What happens if you killed him before starting this quest? --74.107.102.50 22:20, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

I can't find any unique dialogue for this situation. I would assume that you could just complete the quest normally, minus having to have to kill him with him being already dead. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 22:33, 1 June 2012 (UTC)
Works for me. Once I actually get to that point with this character, I'll update this conversation and the notes section of the quest, unless it would fit better on Lurbuk's page. --74.107.102.50 01:23, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
It would fit better on this page. Vely►Talk►Email 01:28, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
Just got there, I can confirm that you just complete the quest normally. Placing it on the main page now.--108.15.67.159 17:32, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Lurbuk's song[edit]

The song he sings when you choose to remain silent might be a parody of Sail On My Cyrus Sail On, :the song pirates sing in Oblivion.

"There once was hardy young lad of the sea... A Redguard of courage and honor was he... Sail on, my :Cyrus, sail on...". "There once was a stranger with eyes full of danger, he said not a word, but his meaning was heard. :Sing on, Lurbuk, sing on."

Should this be added to this page? 80.180.116.49 09:41, 10 August 2013 (GMT)

If other editors find it relevant, it could be added to the Easter Eggs page, but it would have to be discussed before putting it there. UESPWiki does not put easter eggs such as this onto regular gamespace articles. — ABCface 14:15, 10 August 2013 (GMT)
