Separate Pages?[edit]

I'm obviously having a bed brain day today, but why are their separate pages for Largashbur, Largasbur Longhouse and Largashbur Cellar? Surely the way we would normally deal with a single location is to have a single place page with redirects from from the other buildings? As I say my brain's not working today so sorry if it's a stupid question? — Unsigned comment by Biffa (talkcontribs)

Yeah, the cellar should certainly be merged with the longhouse as there are technically the same building. I suppose the logic behind separating Largashbur and Largashbur Longhouse was that Largashbur is the "town" and the longhouse is the (only) building within that town. --Jimeee (talk) 10:48, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
This page was created by a bot, since the cellar is accessed through a separate door that is not within the Longhouse, thus making it technically an entirely different building. I don't believe there is any way to get directly from inside the Longhouse to inside the Cellar, which makes putting them on the same page somewhat tricky according to our normal standards for place pages. It is an odd situation though. -- Hargrimm(T) 14:18, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
Ah, I assumed the trapdoor was inside. Yeah, that makes it awkward since it is somewhat separate. It also seems to be the only listed cellar in the Skyrim-Places-Cellars cat. Personally, I'd still merge the page since the respawn times are the same too. --Jimeee (talk) 14:26, 8 April 2014 (GMT)
I was talking more about the rational for not merging the three pages into one page Largashbur Stronghold with the longhouse and cellar being zones within the stronghold, and placing redirects for searches of the cellar and longhouse. With regard merging just the longhouse and cellar I would think that would be less helpful due to having separate entrances. As at least with placing them all together it makes sense as the longhouse and cellar are technically zones within the stronghold and you can't access them without first entering the stronghold. Obviously the same would apply to the other strongholds. Was this something that was looked at and agreed? I can't think of another place handled in this manner or think of any benefits to having three separate pages over one amalgamated page. The closest I can come up with would be Deepwood Vale and Deepwood Redoubt, which is currently up for merging. Biffa (talk) 23:00, 8 April 2014 (GMT)

If it's irrelevant then....[edit]

why have you left he same info as part of the location header on the page? Biffa (talk) 09:57, 20 May 2014 (GMT)
