Lokir[edit]

The Skyrim Construction Set trailer (seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udM4VvSL2VA) has a little joke mod called 'Lokir's Tomb', with the mod thumbnail showing Lokir and a caption 'RIP 4E173 - 4E201'. Perhaps this should be in the article? - 174.3.47.195 04:54, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

You're probably better off bringing that to the Easter Eggs page, though I'm not sure if it'll get on there either. It's worth a shot, though. Robin Hoodtalk 04:07, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
I've added a note about the video, as well as the mod itself. —Legoless (talk) 02:49, 11 February 2013 (GMT)

He was going the wrong way![edit]

According to Ralof, Darkwater Crossing was the location of the Imperial ambush that led to his and Ulfric's arrest as well as the Dragonborn's and Lokir's mistaken arrest. Since the Dragonborn was "trying to cross the border," the circumstances of the mistake make sense as Darkwater Crossing is close to Riften, which is close to both Cyrodiil and Morrowind. But since Lokir is from Rorikstead and asserted that he could have been "halfway to Hammerfell", what was he doing in Darkwater Crossing? In relation to Rorikstead, Darkwater Crossing and Hammerfell are in opposite directions! Anyone else think this deserves a mention of some sort in the article? Just Cav 02:31, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

He could have visited Cyrodiil and been trying to get away from the Imperials at the time he was captured. It's possible he wanted to visit his home once more before leaving forever, making Hammerfell a more convenient place to go. Vely►t►e 02:36, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

True, if Lokir was anywhere in eastern Skyrim when he decided to make for Hammerfell, then a visit in Rorikstead would indeed put him about half way there. His background really doesn't matter, I guess, since he's such a pointless character anyway. Just Cav 08:55, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Lokir is Achillies?[edit]

Something I've noticed: Lokir always seems to get shot right in the ankle/heel. No matter how many times I start the game or even what anims I use, it's always in the ankle or heel that the arrow sticks out of. Could that be a reference to Achillies? --96.41.225.122 12:40, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Loki of Asgard[edit]

In all likelihood, this character is named after Loki, from Norse mythology, a trickster god known for his deception and cowardice. It might be that the name Lokir is meant to invoke the dishonorable nature of the Norse god.

Considering that the game's aesthetics are based largely on Norse mythology, it probably should be noted in the article. 24.116.226.59 20:53, 10 November 2012 (GMT)

Alternate Opening Scene[edit]

Should it be noted that there was a alternate opening planned, which included giving him different lines and a different voice, the "MaleSlyCynical" voice? You can see what it sounds like if enabled by a mod: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsfVDbuWZBY Torgover (talk) 18:22, 16 April 2020 (GMT)
