50% drop stat[edit]

I don't agree with the 50% stat for sabre cats dropping either an eye or a tooth, not in the beginning of the game at lower levels at least. I've went through about 25 cats already from about level 5 up to level 27, not a single tooth. This needs to be fixed, especially for the Hearthfire add-on where multiple pairs of teeth are needed to fully furnish each home. In another game, I'm at level 140 something, and even then I remember not only are sabre cat spawns significantly outnumbered by cave bears but the drop ratio of eyes to teeth did not seem to be equal and still appeared to favor the eye.

Why don't they make the game realistic? Seriously, its beyond ridiculous when I shoot an elk, I see it has an enormous rack, and then I loot it only to find out that apparently I shot a deer with no antlers..? If I see it,, I should be able to take it, plain n simple. I see a sabre cat,you can't miss the huge prominent canines, two of em right in front of the things face, you kill it, you still see the giant teeth, but you can only hope to get ONE of them, IF youre lucky enough. Thats just stupid. At least make it so the teeth break off when I kill it if you're not gonna give me the teeth, give me a valid reason for blueballn' me and leaving me with one practically useless little tiger eyeball. — Unsigned comment by 166.181.83.59 (talk) at 18:11 on 3 July 2013‎

That statistic is from game data and has been verified. It sounds like you're just unlucky. The only other explanation is that your game is affected by third-party mods which have made some change in this regard (whether intentionally or not). — ABCface 18:32, 3 July 2013 (GMT)

Teeth in Drelas' Cottage[edit]

I have found NO sabre cat teeth in Drelas' Cottage.

Please verify and specify exact location. Glendale1 (talk) 10:47, 1 September 2013 (GMT)

They're there in the CK, though sometimes they can exist in unreachable areas. The recent expansion of the place page makes no mention of them so this is something that does need checked. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 13:04, 1 September 2013 (GMT)
I've double-checked and I missed them underneath the scaly pholiota mushrooms in the silver bowl in the alchemy/enchanting area. I've added the location to the page. — ABCface 03:11, 2 September 2013 (GMT)
