Racial Skills Categories[edit]

I think that we should set up racial skills the same way that we are setting up classes. For instance, we have a category for Dragon Knight and then the three skills. In the same way, I think we should have a category for Altmer and then the skills. The only downside I can see to this is that since we have 10 races, this will make the infobox considerably larger. However, I think it's more important that we should match the Racial skills with the Class skills, so if there's some alternative I'd be happy to hear it. -Thunderforge (talk) 21:42, 5 March 2014 (GMT)

Those aren't the skills you're seeing in the class section - those are sub-sections of the class skills. None of the individual skills are listed on this navbox. If they were, it'd be huge. The racial skills are not broken down into multiple trees the way the class skills are, so a sub-section was not necessary. I suppose I could have called this "Online Skill Trees", which would be more accurate. Not sure if we're going to have a template listing all skills. This would only be useful if every skill were given its own page. That may happen at some point, but if it does, I don't see much benefit to trying to list every single skill in the game on one navbox. It's enough to list just the trees. Possibly there could be separate templates for each tree which lists all skills within that tree. (And maybe the class skills could be grouped together in that way.) But there's no need to break the racial skills down any further on this page, since they're not subdivided like class skills are. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 23:40, 5 March 2014 (GMT)
In that case, I would be in favor of renaming the template "Online Skill Trees". In fact, the header for the navbox is already "Skill Trees", so it makes sense that this would be the case. As for future work, I could imagine having a navbox for each skill tree which would be placed on the page for each skill within that tree. But that's something for the future. -Thunderforge (talk) 18:12, 11 March 2014 (GMT)
