Therander Polle in his home

Therander Polle, a Breton merchant, is the greedy, hard-hearted owner of Polle Gold Mine.

He wears a red silk robe and a pair of gold trimmed shoes. He relies on a fine iron shortsword if threatened. He also has a piece of leveled jewelry, a leveled amount of gold, a leveled gem, a gold nugget and a key to Stirk Manor.

Mining activities on Stirk must be quite profitable, since Therander has been able to afford building himself an expensive two-floor mansion in a style similar to Anvil's. The ground floor serves mainly as the administrative headquarters for the mine, while the first floor holds the living quarters. The ground floor is quite spacious and consists of a desk, a display case, two sets of shelves and a fireplace. Polle's profession is obvious when entering the room: atop his desk is a scale and various weights alongside the mine's employee roster, a list of gold prices and quill and paper. Stacked on the nearby shelves are various official bureaucratic documents: the mine's property deed, its Imperial Charter, tax records and profit revenues as well as the production and stock archive. In the display case are four gold nuggets, including a very large one, and an iron and silver dagger.

The first floor landing serves as a sitting area, with a few chairs and a fireplace. The bedroom is quite spacious and consists of a double bed, a dining table and a chest of drawers containing up to six pieces of upper-class clothing. On top of it sit three bottles of vintage Tamika and Surilie wine, a gold necklace, a gold ring and copies of Fall of the Snow Prince and The Seed. The two barrels nearby hold up to three portions of upper-class food while the crate opposite them contains eight gold nuggets.
