Gavis Velas

Gavis Velas, a Dark Elf mage, is one of the Velas brothers who have recently arrived in Mournhold, and they are currently residing in the Velas Manor. Rumors say that the summoner, Velas, is going to make a display of power soon, and, riding the wave of his brother's reputation, Ovis Velas attacks the Great Bazaar while claiming to be the rumored all powerful mage.

During the fight with Ovis, it is readily apparent that he doesn't live up to his boasted strength. Gavis, who is a much better mage than Ovis, understands that need for self defense but is also upset at the death of his brother and calls for a duel to settle the matter.

He is wearing a flamemirror robe, a third barrier belt, a pair of exquisite shoes, and a ring of poisonblooms. He wields a glass jinkblade, carries three exclusive restore health potions, and a large amount of gold. Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Dire Weary, Great Feather, Strong Fire Shield, Strong Frost Shield, Second Barrier, Strong Shock Shield, Summon Clannfear, Wild Distraction, Drain Destruction, Drain Alteration, Drain Illusion, Drain Mysticism, Drain Restoration, Medusa's Gaze, Strong Reflect, Strong Spelldrinker, Wild Spelldrinker, Drain Blood, Absorb Personality [Ranged], Absorb Speed [Ranged], Blood Despair, Masterful Golden Wisdom, Masterful Red Wisdom, Masterful Silver Wisdom, Masterful Unseen Wisdom, Masterful Green Wisdom, Feet of Notorgo, Vivec's Mercy, and Toxic Cloud.
