Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Ilnori Faustus.
2. Wait a while (leave and reenter the building).
3. Talk to Bols Indalen.
4. Talk to Therdon in The Winged Guar.
5. Speak to Therdon once more in the Craftsmen's Hall.

Detailed Walkthrough

Speak with Ilnori Faustus in the Craftsmen's Hall in the Godsreach district. He'll tell you that he's simply too good to be a simple apprentice and has ambitions to become an adventurer. He continues to say that the next time you come by he most likely won't be around. Speak with Bols Indalen in a short while (you may need to leave the building and return) and he'll complain to you that Ilnori Faustus just up and left his job without telling anyone. He mentions that if you know of anyone looking for work to let him know.

Alternatively, you could just kill Ilnori (Frenzy or Taunt). Talk to Bols about him, he won't mind and the quest will proceed as normal.

Speak with the Redguard, Therdon, in The Winged Guar. He asks you to drink with him and you learn that he was a pillow maker. You will automatically mention the job to him and he will offer you a bottle of Cyrodiilic Brandy to celebrate. The next time you enter the Craftsmen's Hall, speak with him and you will be rewarded with some Armorer's Hammers.
