FioFioFio[edit]

FioFioFio (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

Hi, I'm Fio. I've been a userpatroller for a few months, I'm very active on Discord, and I'm pretty active in the Legends and Online namespaces. I've also gotten fairly knowledgeable about templates (and tables), and I'm very picky about grammar and spelling (just ask Ilaro or Timeoin). I'd like to take on more responsibility here and help lighten the workload a bit. --FioFioFio (talk) 15:45, 21 December 2017 (UTC)

  • Support: Fio is an excellent and active editor on the wiki. She writes great articles about several different subjects, including quest pages for Online and Legends. Her grammar and spelling is very accurate and most of her mistakes are negligible. We are lacking patrollers for the ESO namespace and I think Fio would be a great help to our team of patrollers. --Ilaro (talk) 15:59, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Fio appears to be meticulous and thorough, as well as precise and articulate. Fio's corpus of work in the ONspace is exemplary, and Fio is a great asset in Legends space. Fio well deserves to be a patroller. —Fullertontalk﴿ 16:36, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: For me, Fio has been an instant patrol for months. She is entirely qualified for patrollership, giving due consideration to her userpatroller experience and Discord activity. —Legoless (talk) 21:28, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: From what I can see, Fio seems like a good choice to join the patrolling team. Adding another patroller with Legends and ESO knowledge will be useful as those namespaces continue to grow and evolve. While I'm not doing much patrolling these days, my sampling of a few of her larger edits revealed no major issues and her talk page contributions seem very helpful as well. Forfeit (talk) 18:03, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: I agree with what the others have said. Fio meets all the patroller requirements and ESO knowledge is a major plus. It's also good to have more people with template experience. Full support from me. —Dillonn241 (talk) 01:19, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: For the reasons already stated. Timeoin (talk) 02:49, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: For the same reasons other have said. Fio's edits have always been very good, and it would definitely be helpful to have another patroller to help lighten the load! ~ Alarra (talkcontribs) 07:18, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
Consensus: Support. Supported by all participants. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 09:13, 31 December 2017 (UTC)

Ilaro[edit]

Ilaro (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

Hey everyone, I am Ilaro. I have been a Userpatroller for a couple of months now and I am mostly active in the Legends namespace. I am quite active (on the wiki and discord) and motivated to help the other poor Patrollers to remove some of their workload, because we got some really active editors the last months. While I still make mistakes in my grammar sometimes, this will of course improve the longer I am here. I hope I can be a great help for the UESP in the long run! --Ilaro (talk) 17:41, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

  • Support: Can I support this nomination? Because I support this nomination. (As you said, we need more patrollers). Timeoin (talk) 17:44, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
Yes, everyone can vote when it comes to patroller and admin nominations. Robin Hood  (talk) 20:18, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Ilaro has plenty of experience editing Legends pages and from what I have seen makes few mistakes. He is also quite active as a userpatroller and on Discord, both of which are suggested qualifications. I think he would be very helpful given our recent lack of active patrollers. It would be great to see more edits in other namespaces, but that is certainly not a requirement. Legends is the newest game and therefore requires the most attention. —Dillonn241 (talk) 09:09, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Ilaro has been an excellent editor in the Legends space, and has been performing his role effectively as a userpatroller. Additionally, he has been active and helpful on the Discord. He is very much qualified to be a fully-fledged patroller. —Fullertontalk﴿ 10:35, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: He's very active on here and on Discord, and has been very helpful with Legends-related questions and info. --FioFioFio (talk) 13:32, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Per the above, great work in LG-space and active on Discord. Nothing wrong with having a patroller who is familiar with a single namespace! Legends could certainly benefit from having the extra oversight. —Legoless (talk) 21:05, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: As others have said, he's very active and accurate, and has done a great job with the Legends pages. It'd be very helpful to add him as a patroller. ~ Alarra (talkcontribs) 03:53, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Pretty great, yeah. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 06:51, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Per Fullerton. Ilaro is more than qualified to take on patroller duties, and we do need more patrollers. Tib (talk) 08:48, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
Consensus: Support. Supported by all participants. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:24, 24 October 2017 (UTC)

Fullerton[edit]

Fullerton (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

I'm Fullerton and I'm currently a userpatroller. I've been one for a few months now and I've been on-wiki for about a year now. I'd say I'm the main Legends editor around here. I won't try to obfuscate the fact that I'm not the best at wikiediting here, but I hope I can help the wiki as a patroller. —Fullertontalk﴿ 06:27, 31 May 2017 (UTC)

  • Support: One of a small handful of people who have been interested in working on the most recent site projects. It would have been a lot harder to keep up with Legends without Fullerton. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 06:40, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Fullerton has done an astounding job in Legends space (and elsewhere), and would be a fine addition to the ranks. Echo (talk) 06:59, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: As above. I'm not yet familiar with Legends space, but even his other edits absolutely justify patroller status. --Holomay (talk) 08:54, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: KINM...Eerm, Fullerton has surely done alot for the Legends pages, but he has done tons of work for Online namespace, as well. This includes recording the lengthy dialogues, oh boy. If this is not dedication I'm not sure what is. Active on Discord, which is a plus seeing that we sometimes get wiki-questions there. Tib (talk) 08:59, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose: Fullerton is certainly a key asset to the site with his amazing efforts in the Legends namespace along with strong contributions in the Online namespace as well. This being said, I am slightly hesitant to let these edits go unpatrolled. For example, look at this edit here. There are a few minor errors on this page, with the text saying Legends:Falkreath instead of just Falkreath, favour instead of favor, and some awkward spacing at the end. These are all very minor things that anyone can do when making larger edits, but what concerns me was in two edits afterwards (here and here), some of the same errors were made again. Now this is likely due to copy and pasting and if you didn't catch the error initially, you're probably not going to catch it the next two times. My issue is, if you are going to use an older edit to model future edits, more care should be taken to make sure that what you're copying doesn't have any errors in it. Such attention to detail when it comes to style is key in being a patroller, as all such minor errors like this need to be cleaned up by a patroller to appropriately patrol the page. Even when patrolling a batch of edits from the same contributor that all seem to be very similar and maybe have the same errors, care should be taken to look at each edit to each article to ensure that there aren't other errors or that you missed something when you patrolled that first edit by said contributor.
Sampling a random sample of his most recent 100 edits, I noticed some more minor errors like these as well, so I'm not sure it is in the best interest of the site to allow Fullerton's edits to go unpatrolled quite yet or to let him patrol other user's edits. Admittedly, this opposition isn't very strong and with the support I see above me, I think he will probably be fine to take on these duties as long as he spends a few more seconds looking over edits in the future before saving them. However, for the time being, I cannot support this nomination. Forfeit (talk) 17:04, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Oppose: I must agree with Forfeit here. Fullerton does great work on the wiki and nothing detracts from that, but I don't believe his edits should be autopatrolled yet. The mistakes made are minor and rarely repeated, but I don't yet feel comfortable having him patrol others. —Legoless (talk) 20:37, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
Consensus: Support. Supported by majority of participants. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:56, 8 June 2017 (UTC)

Likelolwhat[edit]

Likelolwhat (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

Greetings, I'm Lulzy. I am currently a Userspace Patroller (since January 2016), and I wish to make the jump to full Patroller. I have been active on the wiki for 4 1/2 years. I have made an effort to always make quality edits, no matter how small, though a few of them are actually quite large. One edit that I am really proud of is my rewrite and expansion of Online:Legacy of Baelborne Rock. My current project is making Morrowind pages. I hop about the wiki frequently, however, and fix anything and everything within my abilities. I also enjoy greeting and encouraging new editors, uploading screenshots according to our standards, and chatting on Discord. I hope to better serve the UESP as a Patroller. —likelolwhat talk lulzy to me 06:19, 31 May 2017 (UTC)

  • Support: Lulzy's been doing a great job on-wiki and already seems to be patrolling recent changes. —Fullertontalk﴿ 06:23, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Lulzy's number of contributions to Online-space isn't matched by many other editors. She's also shown a healthy interest in more complex site projects, and I think is a critical part of UESP's ongoing success into the future. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 06:40, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: As above. Lulzy has done good work for a long time, and probably should have been nominated ages ago. Echo (talk) 06:59, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: As above. It is about time, indeed. --Holomay (talk) 08:54, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Per AKB, Lulzy has done much valuable work for the the Online namespace and I really enjoy reading the texts she writes. She has also provided quite a few high quality images. And she has occasionally fixed my typos! And she was the one to welcome me to the UESP! She is also active and can be contacted on Discord, which in my opinion is definitely a plus :) Tib (talk) 08:59, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: This is long overdue. Lulzy has been doing incredible work across the site for years now, be it her current work in the Online namespace or some of the excellent revamps she did in the Skyrim namespace a while back. She clearly watches recent changes as well and has a strong grasp of our style, so she is a perfect fit to join the team. Forfeit (talk) 17:04, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: An automatic support, per the above. —Legoless (talk) 20:37, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Full support here. I've admired Lulzy's work for awhile and would be completely comfortable with her patrolling others. •WoahBro►talk 09:02, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Lulzy has been here a lot longer than I have and makes excellent contributions. —Dillonn241 (talk) 15:29, 1 June 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Nothing more to say. You know what you're doing, and I have faith that you'll be a great addition to the team. Zul do onikaanLaan tinvaak 13:34, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

Dillonn241[edit]

Dillonn241 (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

Hello, for anyone who doesn't know me yet, just call me Dillon. I have been active on the wiki for about three months now, especially in the last month. Two and a half weeks ago, I was promoted to userpatroller and so far it has gone quite well. The majority of my roughly 1500 edits have been grammar, spelling, and general maintenance, with the major exception being the Redguard namespace. This is the work I want to share because it shows a lot of content I've contributed. The edit that I am most proud of has to be Redguard:Items. You can see the difference looking at this earlier revision. Keep in mind that the Redguard project is still in its early stages, so this page is not finished. Another section worth mentioning are all the NPCs with dialogue. I created pages for Favis, Siona, Trithik, Lakene, Gerrick, and his parrot that are mostly complete. Also, I have made significant contributions to Prnell, Nidal, N'Gasta, and the other NPCs who already had some dialogue. Aside from Redguard, one of my better general edits is this. I think these examples prove my ability to check others' edits as a full patroller. With just under three weeks of patrolling, I don't have much to show in that regard. There hasn't been much activity to patrol honestly, which is why I am excited to take on more responsibilities. Thank you for your consideration!

  • Support: Given that I encouraged Dillon to post this, my support is a given. As he points out, Dillon has made numerous grammar and spelling edits alongside larger content contributions, and in my experience, they've all been good edits that could be patrolled readily. With regular contributions dating back to January, and a few dating back as far as 2015, I feel he's well qualified for this role. Robin Hood  (talk) 18:09, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Dillon has clearly shown a knowledge of grammar and style, and is quick to learn and employ new things. He's doing good work in the Redguard namespace as well. As above, his edits are good; I can't recall any which required additional revision. Echo (talk) 19:07, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Dillon is a prolific and proficient editor KINMUNETALK﴿ 04:30, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Dillon's been doing great work with adding content to Redguard, and makes plenty of cleanup edits. It'll be nice to not have to patrol each of those useful edits :P ~ Alarra (talk) 05:56, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Entirely capable of taking on the role. Dillon has been doing great work in RGspace for the SSCP, and his edits elsewhere have all been an easy patrol from what I've seen. —Legoless (talk) 19:56, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: I'm still around and check out the Recent Changes from time to time, so it's interesting to see unfamiliar names pop-up all over it, and from what I've seen from Dillon, his work is well-done. Plus the site could use more full-time/responsible patrollers besides the massive list of semi-active ones. •WoahBro►talk 16:10, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Per all of the above, he's been great for parts of the wiki that few have touched, plus he's a great editor. Jeancey (talk) 17:29, 2 April 2017 (UTC)
Consensus: Support. Supported unanimously. Robin Hood  (talk) 17:35, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Echo[edit]

Echo (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

Echo has been a Userpatroller for 6-ish months, and has been one of our top contributors to the Daggerfall namespace. Taking a look at her recent contributions, her edits are solid, well-written, thoughtful, and require only a cursory glance before marking them patrolled. Additionally, she shows a clear understanding of our Image Standards, including naming conventions and size guidelines. Checking the patrol log shows that Echo is actively patrolling User space edits, and the edits she marks patrolled are accurate and fit our Style Guidelines. Having an extra set of eyes (hands?) on the Patroller team, especially with someone as knowledgable about Daggerfall, is ideal.

  • I accept this nomination Echo (talk) 08:38, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: As nominator. Nicholas Lee Dust 08:31, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: For the reasons Nicholasleedust has provided. - KINMUNETALK﴿ 08:41, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: She's been doing a great job, definite yes from me. ~ Alarra (talk) 08:43, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Echo has been doing some amazing work around here for quite some time now in the Daggerfall namespace. Aside from this, she has consistently shown that she watches recent changes by userspace patrolling and also being very helpful on talk pages. Adding another patroller who has knowledge regarding Daggerfall will be of great benefit to the patrolling team and Echo is a perfect choice to do just this. Forfeit (talk) 02:17, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: I believe Echo would be a great patroller. I wholeheartedly support her nomination. —likelolwhat talk lulzy to me 04:22, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Sure, why not. Contraptions (talk) 06:45, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Comment: Would it be possible to snowball this nomination? While the week-long nomination period is almost over, I would argue that the consensus is clear. Also, Echo makes a lot of edits and I wouldn't mind them being autopatrolled. ;) Nicholas Lee Dust 06:26, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
    • If there are no objections to the proposal to snowball by then, I'll promote her sometime tomorrow. Robin Hood  (talk) 06:34, 4 February 2017 (UTC)
Consensus: Support. Supported unanimously, snowballed on request. Robin Hood  (talk) 16:48, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Alarra[edit]

Alarra (talk+ contribs edit count logs email)

I've been an active user on the wiki for a couple years now (and am an admin of the forum among other things), and have had Autopatrolled status since 2014. Some of my more major projects on the wiki include a majority of the Legends namespace, several of the books, and a lot of ESO work as well. When I became autopatrolled I preferred that over being a patroller because I didn't feel I was ready to patrol other users' edits at the time, nor was I sure of the time commitment. But I definitely spend a lot of time on the wiki and I've been watching the Recent Changes page more frequently, so I feel ready for the additional responsibilities of a patroller. ~ Alarra (talk) 21:21, 15 January 2017 (UTC)

  • Support: Alarra was an easy choice for autopatrolled, and to be honest I had no idea she wasn't already a patroller. I have no problem supporting this nomination. —Legoless (talk) 21:39, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Alarra is one of the best and brightest users on here, she's a natural choice for Patroller. Echo (talk) 21:50, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Even though I haven't made many edits on UESP, I do check out the recent edits regularly, and I always see Alarra making substantial edits with a keen eye for detail. If anyone is suited to join the Patroller ranks, it's Alarra! KriHavok (talk) 22:01, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: To be completely honest, I thought you already were a patroller. I have no problem with this nomination. :) Jeancey (talk) 23:32, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
  • Support: Alarra's amazing contributions to the Legends namespace and Names show she deserves to be a patroller. - KINMUNETALK﴿ 23:40, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
