My Oblivion Character[edit]

I've been playing this character for quite some time now. I dunno why but I like to play female characters, of course the ones which are pleasing to look at. I think there's nothing wrong with it because games should entertain and relax rather than attempt to reach reality. Attempt - because they never will! Tis quite a bold statement, isn't it?

General Information[edit]

Gender: Female
Race: Redguard
Birthsign: The Tower
Class: Warden (Custom)
Level: 10

Health: 270
Magicka: 150 (170)
Fatigue: 210 (240)

Note: Values shown in brackets are bonuses from enchanted items.

Yup, I went with the Tower birth sign because I like unique things. Have you ever come across a spellcaster being able to cast Reflect Damage, by chance? - I'll bet! Well, I'm the one. I know I know I know what you're going to say. Redguards are terrible at magic. Well, of course they haven't got racial enchanted Magicka bonuses as other races do: Bretons and High Elves. But so what? The former only have 50 points enchanted Magicka. To me it doesn't seem like a huge advantage over Redguards. I could enchant any item with Fortify Magicka 50pts. Certainly, that's the one item I waste. But I get Resist Poison and Disease 75% and the very best Adrenaline Rush Greater Power. I could create a spell called, for example, Divine Health with Resist Poison and Disease 30% (not 25% because I might wear armour) and thereby become immune to poison and disease! Besides, with Adrenaline Rush alone I can boost my health up by 120 points per day.

Statistics[edit]

Attributes[edit]

Strength: 40 (70)
Intelligence: 75 (85)
Willpower: 30
Agility: 40
Speed: 40
Endurance: 100
Personality: 40
Luck: 64 (74)

Note: Values shown in brackets are bonuses from enchanted items.

Increase Endurance, Intelligence and Luck as early on as possible. It's really easy, -btw. I don't need to increase Strength early because at low character levels there are no high quality weapons and armour (the better the quality the more the weight). All you want is to get a bunch of filled black soul gems and enchant your stuff with Fortify Strength 10pts. I've got 3 such items.

Major Skills[edit]

Hand to Hand: 30 (absolutely ridiculous!)
Heavy Armour: 48 (something I can dispense with)
Mysticism: 57 (deeply respect, appreciate and esteem this one)
Restoration: 36 (wonderful!)
Acrobatics: 29 (fun at times)
Mercantile: 54 (what good is gold? I have 27k+)
Security: 34 (tends to be worthless at higher character levels)

I need to reach 100 skill points in Mysticism as soon as possible. It should be a laugh when I create some custom Reflect Spell and Reflect Damage spells. I really enjoy it when enemies kick their own b-t-s.

P.S. Luv messing around with Mysticism spells. I personally think that it's the most fascinating school of magic the game has to offer, although many would argue, of course. YMMV!

Minor Skills[edit]

Armourer: 61 (essential if you wear armour)
Athletics: 56 (seems quite transparent)
Blade: 39 (lovely when you get Expert and Master skill perks)
Block: 61 (nothing extraordinary about this one)
Blunt: 30 (cool as well)
Alchemy: 45 (marvellous!)
Alteration: 37 (quite superb at low character levels)
Conjuration: 85 (indispensable)
Destruction: 51 (blow up everything!)
Illusion: 55 (fun but inferior to Mysticism)
Light Armour: 15 (same as Heavy one)
Marksman: 23 (it's ludicrous that one should apply poisons to bows, not to arrows; what are those lads thinking out there?)
Sneak: 22 (good at all times)
Speechcraft: 31 (worthless!)

I sometimes may be lazy which is why I have such a high skill level in Conjuration. My favourite creature is Clannfear because I hate the way some spellcasters behave - you know them all over run and hit. I've never seen a Necromancer outrun my Clannfear yet!

Factions[edit]

Mages Guild (Warlock)
Fighters Guild (Swordsman)
Knights of the White Stallion (Knight-Errant)

Don't like the Fighters Guild, to be perfectly honest. It seems to me so straightforward compared to the DB. Completing all these pointless errands called contracts. Fetch this, fetch that...but that's just me!

Custom Spells[edit]

Spells I have already created[edit]

Mend

School: Restoration
Rank: Apprentice
Description: Makes repair hammers unbreakable. Cheating?

Fortify Armourer 100 pts for 1 sec on Self

Note: Doesn't grant Journeyman or Expert skill perks in Armourer.

Enchanted Shield

School: Alteration
Rank: Apprentice
Description: Quite a useful spell, especially on the Hardcore, taking into account that even a 5% Shield spell is useful on the hardest difficulty level.

Shield 10% for 30 secs on Self
Fortify Block 5 pts for 30 secs on Self
Fortify Health 20 pts for 30 secs on Self

Sacrifice

School: Alteration
Rank: Apprentice
Description: I created this spell when I was level 4 and still use it playing hardcore. It is very handy if you know how to use it properly because it's worthless otherwise. I've already captured tens of hundreds of souls with it.

Soul Trap for 1 sec on Target
Drain Health 100 pts for 1 sec on Target

Flame/Cold/Lightning Arrow

School: Destruction
Rank: Apprentice
Description: Simply put, a magical missile with fire/frost/shock effects for all Apprentice level characters in Destruction, nothing more.

Fire/Frost/Shock Damage 10 pts for 2 secs on Target

Note: Do not use on the Hardcore.

Stun

School: Illusion
Rank: Apprentice
Description: It may be used to escape or hide from your enemy. Also, may be used when fighting multiple enemies.

Calm up to level 15 for 5 secs on Touch

Bless

School: Restoration
Rank: Apprentice
Description: Gives you a temporary boost of Health points. Nothing special. Usually cast when you're low on health.

Fortify Health 50 pts for 30 secs on Self

Note: Do not use on the Hardcore.

Unlock

School: Restoration
Rank: Apprentice
Description: Makes lockpicks unbreakable. Used before engaging into the lockpicking mini-game.

Fortify Security 100 pts for 1 sec on Self

Circle of Rage

School: Illusion
Rank: Journeyman
Description: It never fails to amuse me how this spell works on law-abiding citizens driving them insane. Who needs the Arena to watch fights? With this spell you can do it anytime, anywhere!

Frenzy up to level 25 in 20 ft for 10 secs on Target

Flame Lash

School: Destruction
Rank: Journeyman
Description:

Fire Damage 12 pts for 5 secs on Target

Spells I'm looking forward to creating[edit]

Rejuvenation

School: Restoration
Rank: Master
Description: An extremely powerful spell. You will never find a Restoration spell amounting to the power of this one. To measure it just lower down your health and repeatedly cast this spell. Its power ever increases with each additional cast.

Damage Fatigue 3 pts for 1 sec on Self
Restore Health 50 pts for 2 secs on Self
Weakness to Magic 100% for 3 secs on Self

In just 3 casts you will heal as much as 600 Health for just 195 Magicka. In 5 casts it'll be 1500 points of Health!
