Take a look?[edit]

Hey Elliot. I just tried to create a somewhat shorter (and less rambling) version of the 'limitations' section on the Thieves Guild page. My early-morning attempt can be seen here and I basically failed. :D
I'll have to go to work soon, so maybe you can take a quick look at the layout/wording and tweak it? Thanks! --Krusty 07:02, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

I went ahead and tweaked it. It was kind of redundant, so I just removed the initial section. And the bold was too... well, bold to include entire sentences. Elliot (talk) 00:16, 6 August 2011 (UTC)
Haha, yeah, the bold looked like crap. Much better now, though - I'll see if I can launch the new stuff over the weekend. Thanks for tweaking! --Krusty 09:27, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Deletion Review[edit]

I've started a deletion review of the Oblivion:Creating an Awesome Character article given previous opposition to a prod. For the moment, I've copied the comment you used in the deletion tag onto the deletion review page, but feel free to replace it with a full argument when you have a chance. rpeh •TCE 11:20, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I will get on it here sometime today. Elliot (talk) 15:27, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Datacaust[edit]

Please don't. A warning is of no use here. rpeh •TCE 22:26, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

I wish you wouldn't have just reverted my edit but rather discussed it with me. The post was 100% ill-intentioned and it was aimed at us "boys". And even if it was aimed at you, other members have the authority to put a warning on other people's pages. Whether you disagree or not, it should not be removed before any discussion has taken place. Elliot (talk) 22:38, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
I would think "ill-intentioned" comments fuelled by irritation or desperation at the deletion of one's work would be taken with a pinch of salt. I haven't been following the spell stacking discussions very closely, but that post doesn't seem worthy of an official warning, provocative as it is. (This is, of course, just my opinion, but I felt a need to add it due to the aforementioned absence of a discussion.) --Legoless 22:49, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
"Fueled by irritation or desperation" is no excuse to insult other members. Elliot (talk) 22:55, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Of course, but would giving Datacaust a flashy stop sign help diffuse the situation or discourage him from making another insult? It would likely rile him up further - putting salt on the wound. --Legoless 23:01, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
That is true for any situation. So by that logic, we shouldn't warn members at all. Elliot (talk) 23:01, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Hmm. Well, I've said all I wanted to say, so I'll leave it on that note. --Legoless 23:03, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Please chill[edit]

If somebody disagrees with you it doesn't mean they hate you or anything like that. Let's try to go through 24 hours with no drama, please. rpeh •TCE 00:47, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

I'm cool, calm, and collected. I was just floored by a revert stating "I added it for a reason". Yes, and I removed it for a reason... It doesn't matter anyway, I'm getting off of here for the night. Also, I don't think I am the one who gets flustered when controversy arises. (It's not you, either.) Elliot (talk) 00:50, 22 August 2011 (UTC)
