Terrified by green?[edit]

The green border in the WIPSandbox template was to intentionally attract attention, and it seemed to be well accepted in the community portal discussion which spawned it. I wouldn't want to start an edit war, but being a notice, shouldn't it be noticable?- Neural Tempest 03:34, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Actually, that green is not very easy to read.--I a m g o o f b a l l--Need Something? Drop by on my Talk Page. What I've done for this site. 03:36, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
I would agree that the green border of the template was actually better. It kind of needs to look "terrifying", because it acts as a warning. However, I also agree with the post above: don't write in green ~ Dwarfmp 03:43, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
I’ve reverted the template to the old green border for now; the template is meant as a not-too-ugly-and-also-friendly “warning”, telling interested editors that the page is under construction elsewhere, so it is only appropriate that the screaming green is there. The template will always be removed again once the editor completes his task, so a bit a scariness is not too bad! --Krusty 04:41, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
Ok, out of courtesy, I removed my green writing. Just a bit of fun. The template however, was indeed assisted by a green border. No harm either way. - Neural Tempest 21:49, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
I based my decision on the style of {{wip}}. The green doesn't follow any style of any other template, so it doesn't make since to have it. All messages are important, which is why we box them in the first place... Elliot (talk) 22:01, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Just wanted to...[edit]

...say thank you for this nice addition! I've been looking for something like that for months, and that original DosBox just didn't work properly on my MacBook. Also, the page finally helps out OSX users, after all these years! Now if I could just figure out how to swing the sword... :D --Krusty 23:53, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

While we're on this topic, thanks for archiving the AN. It's always a pain. There may have been one or two things that could have benefitted from sub-paging, but that can always be done later if necessary. rpeh •TCE 00:00, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
No problem Krusty. I was looking for something that would make life simpler for us Apple people, and I was glad I stumbled upon that. And rpeh, I should have singled out some of them, but I was trying to cut it down in size for now. It was getting a little huge... o.O Elliot (talk) 02:10, 27 June 2011 (UTC)
