Michaeldsuarez originally posted a greeting template referring to "fishy sticks" and then changed it to one that was all business and contained the entire table of contents for the help section. Rpeh and a few others decided that was inappropriate and replaced it all with the standard greeting.

Hello Enterprise2001! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! –RpehTCE 07:00, 10 April 2008 (EDT)

Uhhh.... thanks... I think... LOL What, exactly am I supposed to do with this fishy stick? Eat it? Stick in in the freezer for when I am ready to pass it on? LOL What? --Enterprise2001 23:53, 1 April 2008 (EDT)
Sorry about the templete confusion, but you should check out Fishy Stick article. It's just a joke, so laugh. Wait, you're doing plenty of lol'ing before. Nevermind. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk)/(Contribs) 20:24, 2 April 2008 (EDT)
Yes, I expected an inside joke right away and looked it up. Even so, what would YOU do if someone handed you a fishy stick the moment you entered a room full of strangers? LOL --Enterprise2001 22:51, 2 April 2008 (EDT)
Thanks Michaeldsuarez. You really need to settle on how you are going to great new users. :-) --Enterprise2001 11:33, 10 April 2008 (EDT)
Well the latest was me. I'm afraid that template really wasn't suitable so I removed them all. –RpehTCE 11:57, 10 April 2008 (EDT)
Ahh... So it was, I didn't read carefully and just assumed... (oops...) At any rate, I thought the fishy stick one was more appropriate than rehashing the help pages' contents. At least it was playful and introduced me to an inside joke... <shrugs> --Enterprise2001 12:01, 10 April 2008 (EDT)

Welcome indeed![edit]

I see you already delved into editing, kudos to you. If you need any help or pointers to which projects need work, ask one of the mentors or if it falls into Morrowind realm, you can ask me as well. We could use some bold copy editors around here. -- Cheer, BenouldTC 19:01, 1 April 2008 (EDT)

Thank you, thank you. "Delved into editing" indeed... More like dived into the deep end head first... LOL Nothing like copy-editing and expanding a several page article for your first run through. You are right when you say this wiki is in need of bold copy editors. I have already picked out my next vict- err... article for butch- err... editing, so I don't need any help there yet.
As for Morrowind, sorry, I've never played the game. About all I know is that it came before Oblivion in the Elder Scrolls series. Though, I guess that technically wouldn't prevent me from copy-editing Morrowind articles, just wouldn't be able to expand them. I'll try to stick the editing articles I know something about for now...
It's great to feel so welcomed here. Thanks for doing so...
