Welcome to my talk page! If you want to leave me a message, I will get back to you asap.

Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --rpeh •TCE 10:26, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Personal Opinion[edit]

Please can you not add personal opinions to articles? We stick to verifiable facts, because if we include everybody's personal views we end up with edit wars and chaos. In addition, please can you make sure information you add isn't already on the article? So far, every edit you've made has been removed because they've either been opinion or duplicated existing information. rpeh •TCE 11:22, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

If in doubt you can post what you want to add on the pages talk page before trying to add it to the article. Happy editting!--Catmaniac66 14:53, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Buenas[edit]

--Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 23:41, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Sheogorath[edit]

I agree that it's an interesting question, and I'm looking forward to seeing whether or not he appears in the new game, but article talk pages are supposed to be for discussions about improving the article or for asking questions specific to the article. If you're wondering about things like this, your best bet is to create an account on the forum and talk about it there. Enjoy! rpeh •TCE 12:24, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Done man. JackTurbo95 14:14, 26 February 2011 (UTC)

Userspace Patrollership[edit]

I've just removed your application to become a userspace patroller. If you'll notice, on the same page you applied on, it states that two of the qualifications are:

  • Active on the wiki for at least two weeks
  • At least 100 edits anywhere on the site

You're a day short of the two weeks, and only have a total of 66 edits so far. Feel free to re-apply later. --GKtalk2me 00:41, 27 February 2011 (UTC)

Talk Format[edit]

It's good that you always sign your posts, but you're missing another Talk Page formatting. You should always indent your comments one level farther than the previous post. You can do this by inserting Colons (:) before your post. Thanks! --DKong27 Talk Cont 13:36, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

UP rights[edit]

I've granted you Userspace Patroller rights. Feel free to add the {{User Userspace Patroller}} userbox to your userpage. Let me know if you have any questions. --GKtalk2me 21:44, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Social Template[edit]

You mentioned you have a Facebook account on you user page, may I recommend you use this template to link to it? Not that I care this is just a suggestion. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 05:05, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

UP status[edit]

Hey! I have added headers to this LIST, detailing Userspace Patrollers, simply to keep track of the active/semi-active/in-active UPs, so if you could take a look at the list and make a decision. If you are active, do nothing; if you are semi-active, add that next to your name (example) – or, if you are inactive, please move your name to the appropriate section. Also, remember to update your status if your activity changes along the way. Thanks. Oh, and if you have any questions, please ask them on talk page, not here. --Krusty 13:21, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

Welcome message[edit]

I noticed that you are sending welcome messages like the one in here. I just want to tell you that there is a more updatet version in here. --Archain 14:04, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Keep Going![edit]

I saw this message, and felt a little guilty. I was talking to another editor a while ago about how many of your edits were being reverted but you kept coming back for more, and it's good to see that you're getting the hang of things. This was another good edit, and a well-spotted one.

It can be difficult getting the hang of UESP at first, and I'm very glad to see that you've stuck around and are having more success with your edits. No matter what, remember that You Are Valuable. Keep going! rpeh •TCE 14:17, 14 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks mate =D I'm going to load up my old Morrowind soon so expect me to do some changes on that soon. Also I was thinking about doing an Orvas Dren lore article , short but still there , because he was the head of the Cammona Tong , etc. What do you think ? JackTurbo95 08:10, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure there's enough information on him to do a full Lore article, but maybe I'm wrong. He should probably get a mention somewhere, though. Perhaps on the Tong article instead? rpeh •TCE 08:13, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Maybe you're right. I will get on to it if you want ? JackTurbo95 08:14, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

May I ask why you felt guilty ? JackTurbo95 18:24, 16 April 2011 (UTC)

Suggestion[edit]

Instead of adding a bunch of blank lines under your text below your user boxes add the template {{Newline}} below your userboxes but before your new section to force it to appear under your userboxes. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:12, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks I have been wondering about it. JackTurbo95 18:15, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

Edit Count[edit]

I assume the reason you wanted to know how to find out your edit count is that you're wondering if you meet the Patroller criteria. If you don't mind me offering advice, I'd like to suggest you delay a while after making the necessary edits. At the moment, you seem unsure of your own judgement, and often ask questions on talk pages seeking confirmation for an action you've performed. That's great for a newbie, but as a patroller you'll be expected to be the one answering such questions, so it's important that you gain enough confidence to feel sure about your actions. Doing your own in-game checking and mentioning is often a good method.

You've come on in leaps and bounds since you started editing, and I'm sure you'll be a patroller soon enough. I'm just suggesting that you don't rush into it. It's honestly not as much fun as many people seem to think! rpeh •TCE 10:35, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice. I am about to go through a few things. The reason why I ask people is because some might start moaning and all. I will think a lot more from now on. People always say I have to think =D JackTurbo95 10:42, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

You beat me to that vandalism[edit]

It makes me sad --Candc4 15:57, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

What vandalism ?? Oh..... JackTurbo95 15:58, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
You Know Drunk and Disorderly they guy said hi --Candc4 15:59, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I will warn him if he does it again. JackTurbo95 16:05, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Not if I beat you to it :)--Candc4 16:05, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

Nominating[edit]

You've recently nominated Morrowind:Vivec (city) for Featured Article status. Please could you add your support as nominator beneath it, so that people know it was you. Thanks! Legoless 15:30, 24 April 2011 (UTC)

Sorry , was in a bit of a rush with things. Horse had to be put in! :O

Edit Summaries[edit]

Please can you add more descriptive edit summaries, especially when removing content from a page? A quick glance at your contributions shows "Hmmm ...", "What ?!", "Hmmm", "??", "What?", "???" etc. While that kind of summary is occasionally okay if the edit you're undoing is total gibberish, using them on things like this isn't a good idea. I would also have removed the edit, but I'd have tried to explain in the edit summary that it was a tip of only limited use and that better tips were already provided. If there isn't enough space in the edit summary, use the talk page instead. rpeh •TCE 11:20, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Sorry , rush. Like it says on my page. JackTurbo95 11:47, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

Featured Images[edit]

Just wanted to let you know that the featured images aren't in competition with each other; you can vote for as many as you like. --GKtalk2me 20:22, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

I just like one of them. But thanks! JackTurbo95 13:28, 5 May 2011 (UTC)

Removed Warning[edit]

I've removed the warning you gave to an anonymous IP after it made several bad but good-natured edits. Please remember to assume good faith. Also take a look at the vandalism page and compare to the IP's edits. Legoless 12:00, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

I just thought I did it right. JackTurbo95 13:02, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Again, the edit to the Temples page was not vandalism whatsoever.--Kalis AgeaYes? Contrib E-mail 17:46, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
(edit conflict) Again I had to remove an unfair warning that you gave. This edit is not vandalism, it was just an editor pointing out the acronym. While you were right to undo the edit (unless Lawrence Szydlowski did sign himself with the bolded letters, which I doubt) the warning was not appropriate. Please take my advice on assuming good faith, and when in doubt just leave it to a more experienced editor to decide on giving an official warning or not. Legoless 17:48, 28 May 2011 (UTC)

Sorry...[edit]

I know I have been away for ages lol , but been getting into the world of Minecraft. I will of course be on alot more from now on. JackTurbo95 07:26, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Don't worry about inactivity that much, the wiki will still be here when you get back. None of us are obliged to assist the UESP. By which I mean no one will hold your inactivity against you for any reason, ergo there is no reason to apologize. Still, if you are returning to full activity welcome back! --AKB Talk Cont Mail 01:44, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Well I am trying to get the Minecraft bug out of my system! It is a pretty epic game. But I have now got a new Xbox , will download Vile lair , etc... So you will see me back here ;) JackTurbo95 09:30, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

Reverts[edit]

Hi JackTurbo95! Could you please be a little more careful when reverting edits with the summary: unnecessary rewording? In the past 24 hours I've seen at least three reverts, two here: Skyrim:Dragon and one here: Morrowind:Endurance, which were incorrect. The edits done to the Skyrim:Dragon page were correcting grammar and spelling, and you reverted them with the message unnecessary rewording. The edit made to Morrowind:Endurance clarified an issue and that clarification was necessary.

I'm just pointing it out here, since you do a good job otherwise. Wolok gro-Barok 11:40, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

Getting back into editing is sometimes hard, i'm trying to do my best. JackTurbo95 16:03, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
Don't worry, I've had several slip-ups as well since I started contributing again. Wolok gro-Barok 16:09, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
Hopefully I can start helping out with most of the Skyrim pages. JackTurbo95 16:14, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

unsigned template[edit]

Hi JackTurbo95. I saw you were attempting to mark an edit as unsigned by just adding the name. I thought you might want to know we have a template for marking edits as unsigned, namely Template:Unsigned. To use it, just put {{uns|user account or IP address|date}} (without the nowiki tags of course) after the edit. That is preferable to just adding the name. Wolok gro-Barok 16:40, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

I didn't know that ... Thanks Wolok ! JackTurbo95 17:56, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Welcoming[edit]

Just wanted to tell you we don't welcome every new user, we welcome users that have made at least one edit somewhere ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 13:44, 4 March 2013 (GMT)

Okay, it's good to know, been away too long. Thanks for letting me know :) JackTurbo95 (talk) 13:46, 4 March 2013 (GMT)
No problem. Welcome back by the way ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 13:48, 4 March 2013 (GMT)

Tip[edit]

Hey just to let you know we don't really bother with warning obvious spambots so your edit to WilliamEa's talk page wasn't really needed. Just replace the spam content with {{speed|spam}} and that'll tell an admin to block them. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 08:46, 7 March 2013 (GMT)

Noticed it a bit too late, but will do from now on. Thanks for that :)
