Welcome[edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

  • If you prefer to discuss Elder Scrolls related topics with other users, without the expectations of a wiki to worry about, see our Forums.

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox and don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors if you need any help. Have fun! --DKong27 Talk Cont 15:59, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

No bounty way of killing Adamus[edit]

Please stop editing this conversation unless you plan on offering another reply. You can't just remove a conversation from a talk page, even if you started it. Also removing replies to the conversation can cause confusion, please don't do it again like you did here. By removing these comments you made it seem as if the other editors appeared to be responding to no one. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:01, 19 May 2011 (UTC)

I honestly don't feel like putting up with this nonsense, stop removing parts of that conversation. I'm going to consider this an attempt at a very slow pace edit war if you don't stop this, and as your edits don't make any sense they are also incorrect. Please explain what you are trying to do so I am help you with it if there is an actual point to this, otherwise just stop editing that conversation. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 16:15, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
I was trying to get rid of my posts, I honestly was just offering a way to kill the guy that doesn't get you a bounty on your head and it works 100% of the time unlike the method posted on site which get's you a bounty no matter what, the method would work for any level as long as you lower the diffcultyI won't post anything more don't worry, your mods don't get the concept of taking advantage of fixed varibles and I feel very sorry that those people are in charge, I won't be posting anymore so no worries I'm not here to troll your site. — Unsigned comment by Jmartinez323 (talkcontribs) at 16:40 on 19 May 2011 (UTC)

Warning[edit]

Stop hand.svg Please do not insult other editors or make personal attacks on UESPWiki, as it is considered to be vandalism. If you continue to abuse your editing privileges, this IP address will be blocked from editing. Please consider improving the work of others, not harming it. —AKB Talk Cont Mail 00:18, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

So how exactly did I insult other editors, by saying "they don't understand the concept of fixed varibles?" If so I'm so sorry I don't understand how I got that out of line, won't happen again. — Unsigned comment by Jmartinex323 (talkcontribs) at 18:27 on 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Here are a few examples:
Here you called the sites members trolls, which is inappropriate etiquette.
Here you insulted me and indirectly insulted every user in a power of position by saying that undesirable behavior is awarded by gaining extra powers.
This one is pretty much a repeat of the above. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:27, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Here you said (Logged out!) that I am both a tool and a hypocrite. If you can't see how that is a personal attack than I can't see a way that any of this makes sense to you, I just wish to remind you that this sort of behavior is not proper etiquette.
Here (Logged out again!) you called other editors trolls, which is once again inappropriate. If you can't hold a civil conversation without assuming that the other people that reply are vandals than I would recommend you find another community to be a member of.
Here you tried to incite a continued argument, or were attempting to get the last word to make it seem like you won. Once again we do not support that kind of behavior here, I asked you to drop it and you refused. This post could easily be seen as an attempt to disrupt the community.
Besides that you have been disruptive by constantly altering on going conversations by removing parts of them or entirely removing a conversation despite being asked not too There are several examples of this. Such as this one or this one. These require another user to undo to clean this up, and it can be quite aggravating.
I am currently leaning towards just blocking you, but on general principle I didn't on grounds that you have repeatedly attacked me directly making me to involved for me to take action. So I ask you to stop this behavior right now. I honestly don't want to see any further action taken as it will leave a bad taste in the mouth of all involved, judging from several of your edits I can tell that this was good faith and you were simply unaware of policy, but violating policy is a pretty big thing here. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 18:27, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

Notice[edit]

Look, each and every time you hit the save button, your post is saved in the Edit History of the page, so there’s always evidence of what you did and who you attacked. Now, having read through the entire discussion, I’m convinced that you acted in good faith in the beginning and simply lost your temper along the way. That reaction is human, but personal attacks will NOT be tolerated, no matter how angry you get. Please keep that in mind and read through our Etiquette policy if in doubt. I’m also convinced that you’re willing to bury the hatchet, so please just forget that discussion and move on – plenty of stuff to do on the site! Thanks. --Krusty 18:16, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
