Welcome[edit]

Welcome to the wiki Jack. It's pretty cool seeing a modest user around here. Check out this page for any details you need on the wiki. Good luck!--Willyhead 19:43, 3 November 2007 (EDT)

Yarhar! Was that sarcasm? Ta, anyway.
Nah, it wasn't sarcasm. I read most of your user page and you seemed like a modest person! Oh and keep the good edits flowing ;)!--Willyhead 14:08, 6 November 2007 (EST)
Ah, and you like Led Zeppelin! Good man!--Willyhead 14:10, 6 November 2007 (EST)
Yeah? Yarharhar! I wudn't be callin' me self modest but thanks anyway, hahaha. And: Yeah I like Led Zeppelin, everyone likes Led Zeppelin. Theres only one bloke I know who doesn't like Led Zeppelin, but he likes Deep Purple so 'eese alright ^_-. Heheheh. KarKing Jack 17:30, 6 November 2007 (EST)

Your page[edit]

I corrected your spelling and grammar for you on your user page, if you wish to change it back just ask. Welcome to Wiki:uesp --Western3589 17:21, 4 November 2007 (EST)

Heh, thanks. I normally let loose while typing, ye' know, tur' give me that "Pirate" affect, because in the days I generally aspire to exist in, spelling wasn't an issue. Olde, Old, Oeld, Oled, whatever, nobody cared. Though, nowdays, that can be annoying for most people ^_-. Ta.

Userboxes[edit]

Yeah... I'm in need of help, hahaha. If someone could show me how to put pictures in I'd be greatful... Maybe just Guitars and Drums or something... If you can only have images from the wiki, Y'know, like that, then something like Swords, Hammers, Axes, just cool, ye' know? If you can go totally advanced, something like Jimmy Page, Necrobutcher, Dee Dee Ramone and Lemme, eh? Ta, Yarharhar! 'Cause as ye' can see I'm clueless.... KarKing Jack 13:38, 8 November 2007 (EST)

{{Userbox|#CCF|#EEF|[[Image:Destructionicon_base.png]]|info=This user is a master of Destruction.}}. This is how you put pictures in. --Mankar CamoranTCE 14:41, 8 November 2007 (EST)
Yeah you're welcome to join the 'Anti-Vandal' army, choose any of 'em if you like. Just make sure you live up to your title and delete vandalism from pages. Here's a list of the ranks.--Willyhead 14:50, 8 November 2007 (EST)
Ranks? Sweet. Do I get contracts? Or Missions? Like inflitrate the Vandal base and destroy the disected Penis photos, or something? I was never very good on my own, heheh. But why have you put this in "User Boxes"? Make a new thing, heheh.KarKing Jack 15:41, 8 November 2007 (EST)
Also: How does that help? I don't get it... Is that just like... The name of the image? Like, "Tom.jpg"? Sweet ^_-. I need to resize some gop, now... Ta.KarKing Jack 15:41, 8 November 2007 (EST)
NO! I still can't get it! I don't understand!?! I can get yours, but I looked yours dosn't have anything I don't have! Whats wrong? Can you do it? Heheh. Or someone... I just MESS it up... EVERY time... It doesn't MAKE sense!
You can get more info here. Let us know if you still can't get it. --Mankar CamoranTCE 06:10, 9 November 2007 (EST)
Oh yeah, forgot to say- the best way to tackle vandalism is to check the Recent Changes page now and again. This is much more efficient than clicking the random page button. Good luck Skirmisher!--Willyhead 10:18, 10 November 2007 (EST)
Yeah? Great, great. Will do. Ta, Yarhar! KarKing Jack 17:22, 10 November 2007 (EST)

The Lay of Rpeh[edit]

Yeah, bastard's leavin'. I only met him once, I liked that guy. We outta' do somethin'. Some ceremony or something... Ye' know, with torches and stuff... Just an idea, ye' know? Don't just give him his cookies and let him go! Thats not right, nobody should be subjected to such... Neglection... I know if I was pissin' off I'd want a bluddy parade! Yarhar! KarKing Jack 18:16, 10 November 2007 (EST)

Maybe write a Saga, the guy did a lot...

Complaints[edit]

Sorry, but I have no idea what the point was of your rant at The Antipodean Hammer. And given that it's not something that I have any interest in having to see everytime I pull up that page, I deleted it. No, vandalism is not tolerated on the site. But I'm not sure what you think needs to be done differently. The vandalism you reverted to the page had just been done 8 minutes previously. You happened to be the first wiki editor who noticed the change. Your help in cleaning up the vandalism is appreciated, but I'm not sure why you then felt that it was necessary to post a complaint on the talk page. It's not going to deter the vandal from doing any subsequent edits, and it's not going to help patrollers to somehow catch edits within less than 8 minutes. --NepheleTalk 02:31, 11 November 2007 (EST)

What, the one on the talk page? I thought you were meant to say sumfin'... Sorry, really - I didn't know... Well, it'll never happen again, I mean, it kind of defeated the purpose, didn't it? Defeating Vandalism then vandaling something, in a way that was boasting about deteriorating Vandalism... Kind of Irony, irrit? Yarhar. Well, yeah, terribly sorry, yeah... Tamriel Dictionary[edit]

The edit you reverted on [[Tamriel:Dictionary K]] was a legitimate edit made by a respected community member. It should not have been reverted, much less questioned as vandalism.

Only edits that were unambiguously done with the intent of damaging the site should ever be identified as vandalism. If there is any reason at all to doubt the intent behind an edit, you should always Assume Good Faith. For example, you can check the contributor's edit history. In this case, you would have seen that GuildKnight has been going through the dictionary pages and systematically reformatting them (which happens to be a reqested task from the Task List). In other words, it would be safe to assume that someone who had made 2230 prior edits to the site did not suddenly decide with edit #2231 to turn into vandal, and that there was probably some reason for deleting the text. In this case, the reason was that the content was already covered on Tamriel:Khajiit and was not appropriate for inclusion in a dictionary-type listing. If you can't figure out the reason for the edit and want confirmation, please ask on the article's talk page for an explanation. But unless you have definite proof, you should never jump to the conclusion that someone is a vandal (which can be taken as quite an insult, especially to contributors who have spent many hours cleaning up after vandals). --NepheleTalk 16:51, 14 November 2007 (EST)
