Hello! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors.

However, could you please be a bit more careful about creating new articles? It's probably wise to assume that we already have an article on nearly every Oblivion-related topic, so there is basically no need for more Oblivion articles. We already have articles covering every single quest in the game; your "Path of the dawn" article is misnamed and doesn't even describe The Path of Dawn quest. We do not want articles on individual enchanted items that you've created, such as your "Boots of arkay". The only items that should be documented are ones that are part of the game for every person playing the game -- items that are only of interest for a single player (namely yourself) do not belong anywhere on wiki articles. Furthermore, could you stop creating pointless talk pages to accompany your unnecessary articles? All editors on the site know that they are free to fix spelling mistakes in articles; all editors on the site know that the talk page is where questions should be posted. Creating talk pages simply to state such self-evident information does nothing but create more work for the site's Patrollers who have to check all newly-created pages, and create more work for the site's Administrators because now there are two pointless pages that need to be deleted instead of just one. --Nephele^Talk 14:32, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
