Obtorgren, Shield of Bal

Obtorgren, Shield of Bal is powerful Xivkyn boss who is found in the Imperial Sewers. She is a general of the Coldharbour Elite Guard and wears a blue banner, meaning she will primarily use melee attacks. She may be encountered walking a looping path through the sewers, or spawn after an inner portal is closed in the Barathrum Centrata.

Skills and Abilities

Quick Strike

A basic melee ability that deals major physical damage.

Daedric Whip

A melee ability that deals immense physical damage.

Dark Talons

Roots up to two targets in place and deals major magic damage.

Focused Healing

Obtorgren envelopes herself in a yellow barrier and channels a healing spell. When she's finished, she uses one attack (usually Daedric Whip or Dark Talons). After this attack, her barrier turns green and she becomes enraged, dealing more damage. She uses another attack and her enraged status is subsequently dispelled. The barrier turns white, then dissipates.
