One issue[edit]

There is no boat from Tel Fyr to Sadrith Mora or anywhere else. There's supposed to be one, (She's also supposed to be the Master Medium Armor trainer) but she never appears. So that arrow should probably be removed. --TheRealLurlock Talk 22:35, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

Hmm, that's odd, there is in my version. I'm using the PC GotY edition. Could it be that the boat has been added to my copy either by the Unofficial patch or by the Official Mods compilation? Petrushka 21:42, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
Edit: I mean, of course, that both the boat and the boat's owner are there in my copy. Petrushka 21:50, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
Ahhh yes, I see, she's placed there by the Unofficial Patch. I'll change the map to indicate routes that are only available on some condition like that being fulfilled and upload a new version. Petrushka 21:53, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
Done. Petrushka 22:15, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, technically, the Tel Fyr boat was probably SUPPOSED to appear there, but the devs screwed up. It's fixed in the Unofficial Patch, but technically, that means it's not fixed at all - Xbox users for example cannot install the Unofficial Patch, only official ones. Given that the state of the game as released by Bethesda does not include the boat, I'd say it might be better to leave that one out altogether, or at least make it clearly indicated that it does not exist without a 3rd-party mod. (There are 3rd-party mods that add all kinds of fast-travel services everywhere, and nobody would advocate that we show those on the map. The Unofficial Patch should not be an exception.) --TheRealLurlock Talk 00:29, 12 May 2007 (EDT)
Fair enough. I think I'll keep Tel Fyr on my own copy, though :-) Petrushka 02:30, 12 May 2007 (EDT)

Suggestion/Request: Intervention temples[edit]

Excellent map, thank you. It would be nice to mark the cities/places with the Almsivi Temples/Imperial Shrines used for the Intervention spells. --85.52.74.68 01:19, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

We have separate maps for the Intervention spells: Divine map and Almsivi map. --Legoless 23:09, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Copyright[edit]

Just want to note... this actually would be eligible for copyright, I believe, for the following reasons:

  • the "design" of Vvardenfell is presumably copyright Bethesda, since it's part of their published game
  • same for the fast travel routes
  • the map has been made by contributors to the site

I Am Not A Lawyer, etc. etc., but I think it would be eligible for copyright. In order to dedicate it to PD, the copyright would have to be owned by contributors, and they'd all have to dedicate their contributions to PD

Of course, contributions to the site must be licensed under CC BY-SA "by default", so should the license on this page be changed to that, or perhaps owned by Bethesda, used under fair use? Just my very-uneducated thoughts on it :)

None of those things can be copyrighted. Unless ZeniMax trademarks one of the settlement names or something, the current public domain licence is fine. —Legoless (talk) 15:22, 12 June 2014 (GMT)
