Trouble with updating the file

Forgive me if I am missing an obvious mistake, but as you have probably seen, multiple versions of this file have been uploaded in the matter of a few minutes. I'll attempt to explain how this all happened.

I was quite confused, when making my first update, to find that the new file was the exact same image as the original one, created back in September. This prompted me to upload my new file again, to see if it would pull through the second time. Upon making the second upload, I found that the first update had suddenly switched to the new logo, though the second had not. It, too, was uploaded as the old file. In a quick act of frustration I then ended up trying to revert back to the first update, though that resulted with a duplication of the original file as well. Again, forgive me if I am missing something obvious. Also forgive me for the new pile of images. However, I am quite confused with how all this happened, and would appreciate some input on the matter.

EDIT: It appears that after roughly ten minutes all the files have updated to the appropriate version. I must say this was a very odd situation. - RyanS (talk) 03:13, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

For future reference: if you upload a new version of a picture, you must refresh the pages that contain it to see the effect. Without refreshing, you'll still keep seeing the old version until some time passes and your browser refreshes it automatically. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 04:20, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
