Gunnar is a Nord warrior who is currently incarcerated in the Leyawiin castle dungeon. You have to break him out during the quest Foolish Youth.

As a prisoner, Gunnar has no routine - he spends all his time waiting in his cell. After you break him out, he'll follow you until you leave the city and he can escape.

He wears a set of fur greaves and fur boots. He has no possessions.

When you first meet him, he'll be happy: "Borgunna sent you? So she didn't give up? Tell her not to go see my hanging. Nothing for her there. Ehh." When asked why he got into a fight in the first place, he says: "Why did I get into a fight? How can I stay quiet when that arse says I'm going to marry a scruffy, stupid woman.
