Naked Sigvatr[edit]

While doing this quest, I found Sigvatr out hunting, naked. No weapons, armor, or anything. I killed him, and looted his body to find out he had nothing at all. Not even Pinetear. I resurrected him, hoping he'd respawn with his stuff, but he revived naked and empty again. I had to Console Pinetear into my inventory, but i'm curious as to why this happened. Anyone know? (Yes i'm running mods, if that's the case.) Lucky the Cat Guy. 22:48, 22 April 2009 (EDT)

Mod conflicts cause most problems like this. It seems likely you have a mod that modifies him in some way and caused these effects. I have no idea which one might cause that, though. –RpehTCE 16:00, 27 April 2009 (EDT)

unlimited gems?[edit]

i can only get one copy of pinetear and now he wont talk to me im on xbox GOTY (Eddie the head 04:51, 22 May 2011 (UTC))

You're right. Checked in-game too. It looks like somebody went on what they saw in the CS but got it wrong - Sigvatr has a "Greeting" dialogue that checks for stage 50 and does a "Goodbye" if you already received Pinetar. rpeh •TCE 06:53, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm also on Xbox GOTY. I talked to Sigvatr after completing this quest and got the "Nerevarine" greeting you get when you finish the Morrowind main quest line. I asked about wergild, and he gave me another Pinetear. I had to drop the second before he would give me a third. — Unsigned comment by Wolf GoldStar (talkcontribs) at 06:49 on 12 July 2012
I tested it again. It works without being Nerevarine. Just finish the quest, that's all. — Unsigned comment by Wolf GoldStar (talkcontribs) at 23:01 on 5 August 2012
I've tested this on PC, BM patch v1.6.1820, MCP 2.0, I don't think any of my mods affect this character. After completing Morrowind main, Tribunal main and BM main (in that order), then starting and completing this quest, more Pinetears are given. I'll take out the confirmation needed on the page. Just where is he?[edit]

On this page it says "You will find him between Harstrad River and Altar of Thrond"

But on the NPC page it says "located on the western side of the Iggnir River, just south of the Altar of Thrond"

Are both of these statements equivalent/accurate ? — Unsigned comment by 71.172.175.151 (talk) at 16:00 on 13 March 2015 (GMT)

Both were inaccurate. He's located south of the altar on the western bank of the Harstrad. I've updated both pages. —Legoless (talk) 16:19, 13 March 2015 (GMT)
I think it would be nice if someone could add him to the map too. I don't know how to do it. --Giant Lizard (talk) 22:30, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
