Strange Lighting

This image appears to have quite strange lighting. I might take a screenshot from the same angle myself, having a lighting mod which makes the lighting a bit more natural (unless that is against the rules or something) --Aj (talk) 14:28, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Unfortunately we do have a rule that prohibits screenshots that are affected by visual mods like that. We are trying to record the game as it was originally made and released by Bethesda, not retake every screenshot each time a better lighting/texture/ENB mod comes out. That does mean we sometimes have to live with sub-optimal conditions like this, but it makes life easier. -- Hargrimm^(T) 14:45, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

I see, that's understandable. I will make a new screenshot, however, with shadows enabled, as in this one they seem to be turned off or set to low. Thanks for the information! EDIT: is using the official high resolution DLC allowed? --Aj (talk) 17:35, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Anything official is allowed. Only user-made content, and extensive use of the console (like using the sovngarde weather in whiterun) are discouraged. -- SarthesArai ^Talk 18:24, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
