Rubedite was a high-quality metal used by blacksmiths to forge of arms and armor during the mid-Second Era. Rubedite was smelted from shiny dark red ore deposits that could be found almost anywhere during this time period.

  • The affix word for Rubedite and another similar material, Rubedo Leather is "Rubedo" which is the Latin word for "redness". The term is used in alchemy as a sign of a perfected or finished product.
