The Tark River (or The Tark) is a waterway flowing from central Hammerfell to the waters of northern Hew's Bay. It begins at the bay, southeast of the Irk River and northwest of Taneth, and ends at the Karnver Falls.

Rivers in Hammerfell, such as the Tark are characterized by Ginkgo trees. Their leaves are inconspicuous to the naked eye but easily identified by their peculiar half-moon shape.
