Once you uncover Song's family intends on using her to commune with a relic that will drain her lifeforce, you and Ember will rush off to rescue her. You will go through the Tomb of the Emerald Eye and Song is now being force to commune with the relic against her will:

Song: "Father, please don't do this!"

Lord Nabayir: "Do not resist, Mahtelah! You only make it worse!"

Ember: "Song!"

Song: "Ember? Help me!"

Song: "Ember, you have to destroy the wards! Please help me!"

Lord Nabayir: "You will commune with the relic!"

Ember: "I see three confinement wards, those must be the ones Song wants us to destroy!"

Fighting him during combat, he will say various lines:

Lord Nabayir: "The Emerald Eye fears no enemy!"

Lord Nabayir: "No! You will not best me!"

Lord Nabayir: "No! The Eye will prevail!"
