Urgarlag Chief-bane of the Undaunted has challenged me to explore Scrivener's Hall.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Enter Scrivener's Hall.
   • Optional: Enter Dungeon in Veteran Mode.
2. Kill Riftmaster Naqri.
3. Kill Ozezan the Inferno.
4. Kill Valinna.

   You can only complete the Death Challenge in Veteran Mode.

   • Defeat Zelvraak the Unbreathing after placing the challenge banner.
5. Return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any Undaunted Enclave.

"Scrivener's Hall. Those slime-worshiping librarians just went through a change in leadership. Doesn't seem like it was too amiable though, because the old leader says he wants to reclaim the throne—metaphorical throne, of course."

Slime-worshipping librarians?

"They call themselves the Scribes of Mora. Sounds pretty dull to me. Their new leader, Valinna, thinks she's important just because she has friends in high places. If you want to deflate her ego, plant the banner. Show her what real power is."

I pledge to revert leadership of the Scribes of Mora, defeat Valinna, and return Undaunted.

Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter the Scrivener's Hall dungeon either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to the Rift and entering the dungeon there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can achieve the optional step and your rewards.

When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, Riftmaster Naqri, Ozezan the Inferno and Valinna. With the last boss, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of placing the challenge banner to put the boss in hard mode.

Once you have completed the task, you can return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with her to complete the quest:
