After People of Import is completed:

"High Isle is growing more dangerous, traveler. Fire and ash can burst from the ground with no warning at all. If you leave the city, you'll want a mount that's nimble and doesn't spook easily."

"I believed the Gonfalon Colossus to be strong as a mountain. Never thought I'd see the day when it came tumbling down. A wonder of the world, gone.
What can I do for you, mainlander?"

After To Catch a Magus is completed:

"If these tremors and eruptions get any worse, I'll free my beasts and drive them through the gate. They'll have a better chance running free outside than being trapped inside these stone walls."

"I hear the tremors are even worse out in the countryside. And there are fissures spewing fire, too. Take care with your mount if you leave the city.
I wouldn't want to see a poor beast come to harm."
