Stuga

Stuga is an Orc courier from Forge-Mother Alga, tasked with inviting adventurers to Orsinium. She'll be found in the starting cities of each alliance; Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, and Davon's Watch. After giving you her message, she disappears and is removed from the game.

Quest-Related Dialogue[edit]

She will run up to you in the above locations, saying "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?" If you speak to her, she'll hand over a letter:

"Greetings to you!"
A messenger delivered a letter to me. I think she wants me to read the letter.
"<The letter, from Forge-Mother Alga, King Kurog gro-Orsinium's mother, invites me and adventurers like me to come visit Wrothgar and the new city of Orsinium. Ambassadors wait in Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, and Vulkhel Guard to provide transport.>"
I'll look for the Orc ambassador.

After accepting the quest, if you talk to her, she'll only repeat, "Greetings to you!"

Notes[edit]

  • Stuga's initial line is actually re-used from one of Shagora's lines of dialogue, where she says "Seqbar! Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"
  • Before Update 38, Stuga would appear in major cities and endlessly chase players who had not yet accepted her quest. Combined with her repetitive line saying "Do you know how long I've been looking for you?", this became a common source of annoyance for players.
    • This has been acknowledged by the developers in the form of an April Fools article published on the official ESO website, where she was teased as a future Companion: Do You Know How Long This New Companion Has Been Looking for You?
    • The release notes for Update 38 had a header "Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this change?!", announcing that Stuga would now remain stationary. It also included a note about an unrelated bug that could send a player to "null space", saying: "No goodies out there in null space, just endless Stugas."
