Yrgrid is a Nord warrior who can occasionally be met as a random encounter during the Zeal of Zenithar event.

Dialogue

As you approach her you can hear one of several things:

Yrgrid : "I might be of aid."

Yrgrid : "Hey there, a word?"

Yrgrid : "Spare a moment?"

Speaking to her, she'll say:

"Poor travelers lost and all alone? Whatever will you do? Good thing me and my friends found you when we did. Isn't it?"

I don't see your friends.

"My friends are all around us right now, even if you can't see them. And, while I may be nice and calm right now, I can assure you that they are not.
They like to take what they want. But me? I ask politely. And then not so politely."

What do you want?

"I just want to help. My friends won't attack you if you bear my mark of protection. Unfortunately, Zenithar only blesses an exchange of coin. So purchase one of my marks of protection and I guarantee my friends will leave you alone. How's that sound?"

I'll buy your mark of protection. [00000374374 ]

"It's been so nice doing business with you. Enjoy your time at the festival!"

I'm not giving you anything.

"Suit yourself. But don't say I didn't warn you."

If you agreed to buy the mark of protection she will bestow it to you and say:

Yrgrid: "Now, that wasn't too difficult was it? Safe travels! I'm sure I'll see you soon."

Otherwise:

Yrgrid: "You'll be sorry that we couldn't come to an understanding here. Oh well. Have fun on the road!"
