Elk of Arrows is Hircine[edit]

The text says:

"Lord of the Hunt, guide my vision. Let me see through the owl's eyes. Let me find my prey. Let me pierce them with my talons!"—Prayer to Hiricine woven into the cowl"

The antiquity entry says:

"I nearly missed it, but there's a prayer to an Elk of Arrows woven into this cowl. Given the location and age, I would argue this cowl is evidence of overlap between the druid's True Way and Reach theology. Don't balk! Hircine and the druids actually have quite a bit in common. What is more willful and valuable in nature than the relationship between hunter and hunted? The natural cycle of life and death is Y'ffre's will too! — Amalien"

Consider the following.

  • "Prayer to Hiricine woven into the cowl" - from the first source
  • "there's a prayer to an Elk of Arrows woven into this cowl" - from the second source
  • Hircine's name is misspelled as Hiricine, so the an before the Elk of Arrows is likely a typo.
  • Lord of the Hunt is Hircine's title.

I went ahead and added a sic to both words, and will be adding Hircine back as the Elk of Arrows. - Zebendal (talk) 07:31, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
