A disquisition on the origin and nature of Dragons

Note: The first paragraph is the Alduin entry found in Varieties of Faith in the Empire. A deciphered version of the second paragraph, written in the "Mage Font", can be found at The Imperial Library. The third paragraph is almost three full sentences from the "Old Knocker" song of the Five Songs of King Wulfharth. The obscured fourth paragraph says, "Dragons have existed since the beginning of Time, as some kind of kindred spirits to (crossed out text) -- ???? & lesser relation to him or his children or part of him that split off when Time began or ---. In the beginning, dragons were wild and uncivilized, like everything else. Alduin was the creator of dragon civilization - the Firstborn and the". The fifth page reads "Finally, one dragon (that we know of) decided to join the human side—this was Paarthurnax. He’s the Prometheus to the proto-Nords—he taught them to use the Voice. This turned the tide, and the proto-Nords continually defeated Alduin and the dragons and everything else. Alduin was the creator of dragon civilization—the firstborn and the smartest. Alduin (World Eater): Alduin is the Nordic variation of Akatosh, and only superficially resembles his counterpart in the Nine Divines. For example, Alduin's sobriquet, 'the world eater', comes from myths that depict him as the horrible, ravaging firestorm that destroyed the last world to begin this one. Nords therefore see the god of time as both creator and harbinger of the apocalypse. He is not the chief of the Nordic pantheon (in fact, that pantheon has no chief; see Shor, below) but its wellspring, albeit a grim and frightening one.

The third song of King Wulfharth tells of his death. Orkey, an enemy god, had always tried to ruin the Nords, even in Atmora where he stole their years away. Seeing the strength of King Wulfharth, Orkey summoned the ghost of Alduin Time-Eater again. Nearly every Nord was eaten down to six years old. Boy Wulfharth pleaded to Shor, the dead Chieftain of the Gods, to help his people. Shor's own ghost then fought the Time-Eater on the spirit plane, as he did at the beginning of time, and he won, and Orkey's folk, the Orcs, were ruined. As Boy Wulfharth watched the battle in the sky he learned a new thu'um, What Happens

The current home of Septimus Signus _ the _, it’s a _ _ iceberg that happens to have a _ _.

In the center of the iceberg, though, is a large Dwemer lockbox: Septimus had carved a cave into the iceberg so that one side of the lockbox essentially makes up a wall of the cave.

The iceberg was created around the lockbox by some unknown person within the last few hundr-

hundred years. This person came across the Oghma Infinium, recognized it as a item of evil, and sealed it away in the _ iceberg _ so that the world would be safe from its influence.

It does not need to be a large space, but there should be a space between Septimus’s living area, which has the lockbox, and the exit where the player can be out of sight — Hermaeus Mora will appear to him there.

Alduin's civilizaiton was the dragon cult or Atmora. He's basically the Dragon God on Earth. The Dragon High Priests are his acolytes and everything is ordered.

Alduin was the creator of dragon civilization—the firstborn and the smartest. Dragons were attributed to Human o_(?). _eanse(?) they shared the Human[s] of the world as a gift a god's linen(?) Alduin knows Akatosh created Mundus. So humans learned their
