I've encountered the bandit marauder in several other dungeons, not just stony creek. One was at a fort; can't remember which fort right now, but it was a fort just east of where the thalmor were holding the gray-mane's son.

There was one of them in the entrance to the prison, and another one in the next room. Playing a sneak archer / dual-wield axe, I got my arse kicked the first time. reloaded a couple more times and was almost winning but each time the last marauder got one or two hits and i was dead. i had around 330 health and was wearing fur armor mostly (around 77 armor rating) with lydia as companion (in orcish armor).

I'm toast in close combat, but the marauders dont have great defense themselves. they hit hard, but aren't too tough (in terms of life and armor). I can kill one with two or three arrows. If they're far enough, they can't even get close too me to take a swing. But when they do get close... I reload - a lot. — Unsigned comment by 208.198.0.57 (talk) at 04:28 on 28 November 2011
