Detailed Walkthrough

Reynant Alciente at the Barristers' Guild wants you to convince Stabby-Jak Merrus on the ship known as Niben's Wind that he has left town for High Rock. You will need a disposition of 50+ with Stabby-Jak to have a chance of convincing him. Alternatively, tell Stabby-Jak Merrus where to find the lawyer for 200 gold. If you speak to Stabby-Jak and he doesn't believe you, you will have 24 hours to return to the Barrister's Guild and save Reynant. You will have 24 hours to report Stabby-Jak to a guard on Reynant's death.
