Detailed Walkthrough

Fitz-Fitz has another job for you. This one concerns the acquisition of a Devil Cephalopod Helm. Curiously, said acquisition needn't involve theft from any particular person. There are a few of these helmets around: one can be found in Urshilaku Burial Caverns and Verick Gemain in Caldera has one too, and if you were interested in a thieving challenge closer to home, then one such helm is also in the treasure chamber of Firewatch's own Ember Keep.

However, the one that Fitz-Fitz suggests you acquire is in Tel Rivus - a Telvanni wizard tower on the east side of Althoa. This is the same island that you visited during Hrongal's Dagger, and you can most easily reach Tel Rivus by taking the boat to Nivalis from Firewatch's docks, and following the single road that winds southeastwards through the isle.

The tower sprouts from an ancient Dunmer stronghold named Andvaryon. The helm itself is within the Lower Level of this stronghold, behind a locked (level 75) and guarded door on the western side. You'll need to bypass this door - either by picking the lock, or by using the key held by Tel Rivus' ruling wizard, Nira Uldram, who can be found in the Tower portion of the complex.

Once you have the helm, bring it back to Fitz-Fitz in return for two Master's Lockpicks and a Master's Probe.
