I was trying investigating yesterday when I heard a scratching at the door. It scared me half to death! Is there some kind of creature behind this door?

Something is in there. I finally brought up the nerve to approach the door again, when I heard voices faintly on the other side

I haven't slept in days, every time I close my eyes, I just panic about what it might be on the other side. I can't sleep down here anymore.
