Assalkushalit circa 3E 427

Assalkushalit (also known as Kushalit Sanctuary) is a Daedric ruin located on the northern side of the Red Mountain, inside the Ghostfence, southeast of Maar Gan. The ruin's interior contains a shrine dedicated to Sheogorath, Daedric Prince of Madness.

As of 2E 582, Assalkushalit was recently abandoned and available for purchase as a private residence. It featured a statue to the Mad God within its stony hall and contained numerous portals connecting parts of the complex. It was accessible through the portal located in a small ruined alcove in the northern Ashlands, south of Valenvaryon.

When the Ghostfence was erected to keep the Blight and Corprus monsters contained within the Red Mountain Region the Assalkushalit was isolated from the rest of the Vvardenfell.

By 3E 427, the ruins had become occupied by a trio of hostile worshippers. A cursed ruby and a Devil Longbow were placed on Sheogorath's altar.
